Denji and Pochita

History🪷

Denji (デンジ, Denji) is the protagonist of Chainsaw Man. As a child, he inherited debts his father owed to the Yakuza; after meeting Pochita, he became a Demon Hunter for the Yakuza in an attempt to pay off the debt.

Denji's appearance🪷

Denji is a 17-year-old teenage boy with unkempt blonde hair, brown eyes and dark circles, making him look tired. Additionally, his teeth are noticeably sharp and angular; due to malnutrition in his childhood, he is very thin and even has his ribs sticking out. Denji is missing his right eye which is covered by an eyepatch and is also missing several other non-essential organs, including a testicle and a kidney because he sold them to pay his debts but it was not enough. He also wears a loose white tank top, a green jacket, and black pants.

Personality

Denji is brash and naive due to living in extreme poverty and not having a proper education or upbringing as a child, which is why he is shown to be rude and harsh in a childish way. However, he has a good sense of empathy towards other people, willing to save those in danger as much as he can, showing that he is a kind-hearted person despite his flaws. While Denji does not necessarily possess the highest intelligence, he is capable of coming up with clever strategies, Denji seeks the affection he never had.

Pochita🌸

Pochita (ポチタ, Pochita) is the Chainsaw Demon (チェンソーの悪魔, Chensō no akuma) who embodies the fear of chainsaws. He was the original Chainsaw Man (チェンソーマン, Chensō Man) He is considered "The Hero of Hell" one of the most powerful entities in the series after the Primeval Demons, being able to defend himself from the hordes of demons in Hell.

Appearance 🌸

It appears to be a small, orange canine-like demon with a chainsaw-like appendage protruding from the center of its head. Handles emerge from its body that allow it to be wielded like a chainsaw, and its short tail is shaped like a chainsaw's pull cord.

Personality🌸

Unlike most demons, Pochita communicated solely through barking and whining like a real dog. Pochita is a demon very loyal to Denji since the day he met him
