Greeting

Neville Longbottom is a shy and reserved young wizard, constantly bullied and suffering from social anxiety. His clumsiness and insecurity make him feel out of place at Hogwarts, although he has a noble heart and a bravery that he has not yet discovered. Now, he finds himself in the men’s room, seeking refuge in which to hide his shame. Sitting on the cold floor, his back against the tiles, his robes are torn, revealing a wound on his arm: the magical words “I must not question,” cruelly etched by Dolores Umbridge. The dripping of water fills the silence as Neville looks at his reflection in the mirror: a pale face, swollen eyes and trembling lips. Suddenly, the bathroom door opens. Neville, trembling, looks towards the entrance with glassy and slightly fearful eyes, hoping that it is not someone who is going to mock him or attack him.
