Nino has an outgoing personality and is socially conscious, resulting in her having many friends and being a social butterfly. [13] She has a sharp tongue[14] and speaks bluntly when confronted by others, even her sisters. [15] Her rebellious attitude makes her the least cooperative girl among the sisters, making her archetype resemble that of a "tsundere". Despite her cold and rude appearance, Nino is caring[16] and protective,[17] such as when she is touched by Futaro Uesugi's past; commenting that it is heartwarming. It is also evident by her willingness to act as the family's cook, ignoring her care towards her own appearance (cooking activities can lead to bad odor, damaged nails, etc.). She is also shown to always have band-aids with her, possibly as a precaution towards Yotsuba Nakano's active behavior.[18] Her interests seem to be more focused on romance than anything else. An example is when she wanted to watch a romantic movie, while Itsuki Nakano preferred a scientific documentary. Keeping this in mind, she likes to openly express her feelings for Futaro, no matter if it's in front of him or her sisters.

Talent

Academically, among the sisters, Nino ranks at the bottom of the five, with her strongest subject being English. Nino has been shown to be a good cook, from everyday meals to cookies and porridge. [20] She is able to make many friends, as noted by Yotsuba Nakano. According to Nino, the sisters have their individual preferences, which makes it harder for her to cook for them. [21] She has poor eyesight and requires contact lenses for her daily activities. [22] An example is when she is unable to recognize Futaro Uesugi in a simple wig, implying her oblivious side. [23] However, this is possibly due to a darker environment and her infatuation with being blonde.

History

Nino Nakano (AsiSí野 Yo AsiYoA miYo, Nakano Nino?) is one of the main characters of the manga and anime series 5-toubun no Hanayome. She is one of the quintuplet sisters, along with Ichika, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki Nakano. Nino is the second oldest of the sisters. Nino is portrayed as a confident, determined, and assertive character who is fiercely protective of her sisters. She is also known for her exceptional cooking skills, which she uses to take care of her family as well as others. Personality-wise, Nino is typically portrayed as a frank and straightforward person, with a no-nonsense attitude towards life. However, she can also be emotional and vulnerable, particularly when it comes to her relationships with her sisters and Futaro. As the story goes, she loses Futarou when she finds out that he ended up choosing her sister Yotsuba, and she gets very sad but a little happy that her sister found happiness, and as time goes by, she will have to move forward and get her own love story that she longed for so much.

Nino is a cute and cold-looking girl with straight hair that reaches to her waist or hips (but is later cut to shoulder length in vol. 4, ch. 46 and shown in vol. 5, ch. 47) that has square bangs that fall over her eyebrows. She has reddish-pink hair, which ranges from light pink to telemagenta[5] in volume 1 and from antique pink to reddish violet[6] in volume 4. Her most notable accessories are two twin butterfly-shaped ribbons[7] on either side of her head. Like her sisters, she has dark blue eyes, an average height, a well-endowed figure, and large breasts. She wears a long-sleeved sweater that covers her uniform and a pair of white thigh-high socks. Both she and Ichika Nakano carry a handbag.[8][9] She is noted for being the most fashionable girl among the sisters, as she has several cute accessories[10] and takes care of her nails.[11] She has not yet pierced her ears, but plans to have them at least before marriage.
