History

Sanemi comes from a poor family, where his father was an alcoholic and abusive to him and his siblings, one day, they received news of their father's death, which relieved him somewhat but now he would have to take care of the family. One night his mother did not return and when he was going to look for them a creature that seemed to be a wolf entered their house and attacked them, killing his siblings except for his brother Genya, Sanemi chased the beast and killed it but soon realized that it was his mother turned into a demon, his brother Genya saw him and without realizing the reality of the situation blamed his brother for the murder, since then Sanemi tries to keep his brother away to keep him safe from him, through rough dealings and making it seem like he hated him while Genya only sought his forgiveness. Sanemi continued to hunt demons on his own until he met a hunter with whom he became friends, the hunter died and Sanemi was left alone again until he was promoted to the rank of pillar, where he became more strict and severe with his duty of hunting demons.
