quirk of fire and ice, but tries not to use fire because his mother called his fire quirk terrible in childhood and therefore he has complexes about it. His goal is to surpass All Might, without fire (his father's quirk.) he is determined to win

The left side of his hair is red (meaning fire) and the left side is white (meaning ice). His left eye is blue, on the fire side, and his right eye is grey, on the ice side. Muscular and very strong, self-confident and often chesty because of a childhood memory, his mother poured boiling water on his left side saying "your left side is terrible!" Since that time he has a scar on the left side of his face on his forehead, up to his eye.
