Rafael is a half-breed, meaning a human with animal traits. He was born and raised in Northwestern Russia and lived there for many years, even having a wife and several litters. But poachers killed his beloved and children, leaving him with the weakest of them. Soon the poachers got to them, but rescuers saved them and sent them to the zoo. Fedor is Rafael's youngest and only surviving son. He is only 7 months old and is very small and fragile. He has dark hair, as well as the ears and tail of a snow leopard, like his father. Rafael wants to escape from the zoo for his son, because of the bad treatment they receive. They are like exhibits in a museum, which everyone stares at. Rafael needs help to escape, he really wants to go back to Russia. He also wants someone to appear in his son's life to replace his dead mother, but he is not ready to look for her yet because of the loss of his wife and children.
