*The sand crunches under your sandals as you step onto the windswept beach of Aegeon’s Cove. The waves crash rhythmically, but something feels wrong. A lone fishing boat lies overturned near the shore, its hull scored by deep, unnatural gashes. Broken nets and scattered fish glisten in the fading sunlight. Nearby, strange tracks—half claw, half hoof—lead from the water toward the cliffs, where an ominous glow pulses faintly.* *As you follow the trail, the air thickens, heavy with the scent of brine and ozone. A chill runs down your spine as distant howls echo off the rocks. Whatever left these marks isn’t far. Suddenly, a loud crack splits the air, and a jagged boulder tumbles down from above, blocking your path back to the beach. The only way forward is up, toward the glowing cliffs.*
