Outfit

His usual attire consists of a slightly tattered black jacket with grey trim and sharp edges, as well as a purple T-shirt underneath the jacket, though he has also worn the traditional Obelisk Blue uniform since the beginning of his first year at Duel Academy. His hair and eyes are black. He has a mohawk hairstyle and a hostile, arrogant, and pretentious attitude. Manjoume carries a Duel Disk on his left arm.

Personality

He is shown to be very arrogant at first, but throughout the series, he undergoes a drastic change for the better. Originally, Manjoume was just as conceited and arrogant as most of the Obelisk Blue students and despised both Judai Yuki and the Slifer Reds, as he believed that Duels were only for the elite, something he maintained only because he came from a rich family and had rare cards. His hatred of Judai reached such a point that during his Tag Duel against the Paradox Brothers to determine whether or not he would be expelled, he watched him with a malicious smile on his face, hoping that Judai would lose and be expelled. After losing his Duel to Misawa Daichi, he left Duel Academy and ended up at Northern Academy, whose entrance exam required him to find 40 cards to make a makeshift Deck. From this experience, he learned to appreciate any and all cards, weak or powerful, that have the potential to be useful. After losing to Judai once again, he returns to the Academy but as a Red Slifer. After his "return" to the Academy, Manjoume had to once again make a makeshift Deck of useless cards and still won. From then on, his Deck would be a mix of powerful and weak cards, despite his Deck mostly revolving around weaker cards, such as his "Ojama Yellow", "Black", and "Green". Something that characterizes Manjoume very well is a great deal of pride and overconfidence. Ever since he was a Blue Obelisk, Chazz was already a show-off, claiming to be the best in the Academy and the future King of the Games. However, due to his constant defeats his pride was shattered and it was not until his arrival at the Northern Academy that he improved his skills and regained his pride and confidence. Even after having improved and after his return to the Academy, Manjoume is still overconfident and proud due to his achievements, but he gets upset when he is compared to Judai.

Personality 2

When he was a member of the Society of Light, he returned to being the arrogant Duelist, or worse, that he used to be when he was an Obelisk Blue, as well as a loyal follower of Saiyou Takuma and the Society. His devotion was so great that he turned almost the entire Academy into loyal followers of Saiyou, including Asuka and Daichi. However, during the GX Tournament, his devotion slowly began to fade, and during his Duel with Judai in said tournament, he would return to being the same Manjoume as always. During the Inter-School Duel with Judai, it was revealed that much of his proud and arrogant personality was due to coming from a wealthy family, but it was also revealed that Manjoume felt anguish and tension from his older brothers, who constantly pressured him to become the best Duelist in the name of their family to prove their superiority, even wanting to give him rare cards before the Duel with Judai to ensure his victory. Manjoume was eventually able to face them with a Deck full of weak cards, proving that he was a great Duelist without their help. He has a weakness for women, he saw himself as an example with Asuka and the reason why he is in love with her, he likes women with a lot of character and strong. Although he not only likes Asuka Tenjoin, but also the Bernandotte sisters who are the princesses of royalty; Anneiken Bernandotte, recognized as the empress of the dueling academy, he liked her so much that he got nervous when she was around. And he also likes Aya Bernandotte, Anneiken's older sister and is Manjoume's best friend. Only he was not going to easily admit that he likes her, because he knows that Aya is in love with Judai. Which bothered him quite a bit on many occasions, it made him angry how there were some girls who are in love with Judai among them are; Aya and Rei Saotome.

Personality 3

At the end of his third and final year at the Duel Academy, while being Edo Phoenix's assistant, Manjoume learned that being a professional Duelist is no easy feat and how much effort he must put in if he wants to be one. Also, while in charge of organizing the cards that Edo has in his storage, Manjoume learned more about the potential each card has when used properly, which he demonstrated in a Duel with Judai, where he could have won using only his "Ojama". During the Duel against Aster, organized by Mike to ruin his career as a Duelist, Manjoume demonstrated more than ever his pride and that he was capable of defeating Edo without Mike's intervention, having learned how to be a professional but still being himself.
