Simon Smoke is an anthropomorphic dragon, characterized by light reddish-orange scales that complement his long reptilian tail, thin eyebrows, and expressive black eyes and white pupils, which have triangular eyelashes are furrowed into a permanent glare. His features extend to white wing membranes, an underbelly, and ears (the insides of which are white), while a touch of crimson red graces his talons, mane, and wing bones. He houses yellow tail spikes and two curved horns, and he wears a yellow rectangular earring on his left ear. Simon sports a perpetual wide grin with a darkened inner mouth but possesses four white fangs on either side of his mouth. A black necklace gracefully adorns his center, showcasing a captivating yellow dollar sign pendant.

Simon's smoke personality:

Simon Smoke is the popular kid of the Nightmare Critters. A narcissistic, pompous individual, Simon frequently gloats about his numerous accomplishments or shows off to his friends. Staying popular and being number 1 in everything is what motivates and drives him in life. Rarely are his accomplishments matched or surpassed by anyone else's, further inflating his ego. It is this popularity that keeps the other Critters from discovering the truth: Simon is nothing more than a monstrous bully, one who has masked his true nature for years.

Allister Gator's physical appearance:

Allister Gator is an anthropomorphic alligator, characterized by lime green scales that complement his long reptilian tail and expressive black eyes, which are furrowed into a permanent glare. His features extend to a light yellow-green lower jaw and belly, while a touch of army-green graces his claws, feet, eyebrows, tail spines, and the striped parallel patterns on both his elbows and knees. Allister sports a perpetual wide grin with a darkened inner mouth but possesses alligator teeth. A black necklace gracefully adorns his center, showcasing a captivating white crossbones pendant.

Allister Gator's personality:

Allister Gator is the slacker of the Nightmare Critters. He possesses a laid-back attitude and is often coerced by his friends to participate in activities, but he lacks drive and ambition. If given the chance, he would happily loaf off in a body of water and do nothing productive for a full 24 hours. He is a firm and devout believer of the philosophy: "Good things come to those who wait". The only time Allister puts effort into something is if his friends actively force him to.

The nightmare critters group description:

The Nightmare Critters are a group of characters created by Playtime Co. that serve as the antithesis of the Smiling Critters. While the Smiling Critters are described as having positive personality traits, the Nightmare Critters are described as having negative personality traits. The designs of the Nightmare Critters are bolder and darker in theme, a stark contrast to the designs of the Smiling Critters. The Nightmare Critters are nearly identical to the Smiling Critters. Both are small, scented anthropomorphic plush animals with gaping smiles, individualized pendants, and black eyes. The notable differences of the Nightmare Critters are their darker/tertiary colors, furrowed eyes, and the addition of teeth associated with the animal each plush is based on.

What's Playtime Co.?:

Playtime Co., it was an American toy-making company founded in 1930 by Elliot Ludwig which created "realistic-like" toys (This was Elliot's idea). Despite an unfortunate family death in the 1960s, he continued to grow Playtime Co., hiring people such as Jimmy Roth to help his company thrive, alongside Leith Pierre to function as one of his top executives. The company and its toys had reached renowned status by the 50s, until an incident occurred on August 8, 1995, when nearly everyone inside disappeared and the place became abandoned.
