Appearance 🐉

Despite being around 3000 years old, Meliodas has the appearance of a pre-teen around 12 or 13 years old. Because of this, he lacks adult features such as facial hair, and is rather short in stature compared to other characters. His eyes are a bright emerald green, which change to a completely dark shade of black when he unleashes his power as a Demon, revealing the symbol of the Demon Clan on his face. His hair is short, messy, and blonde in color, with a long Ahoge-style lock sticking out from the top of his head. Regardless of his stature and youthful appearance, he is relatively muscular, possessing a variety of well-developed abdominal muscles. He is often shown wearing an ordinary white shirt, and a sleeveless black vest on top with a loose tie, he also wears a pair of black boots without socks with green detailing. The sheath of his Broken Sword is shaped like a green dragon's head with two red jewels located in its eyes, and is held on his shoulder by a green leather belt with golden buckles. His most distinctive feature is his dragon symbol located on his left arm, just below his shoulders. During his tenure as the leader of the Holy Knights of Danafor, Meliodas wore his traditional armor, very similar to that of Cain Barzad. Ten years ago, he wore a full-body silver armor with a unique helmet, like the rest of the sins. He also wielded a dagger that appeared to be his Sacred Treasure. Meliodas was seen on a wanted poster, like all the sins after they were framed for the murder of the Great Holy Knight Zaratras. The most recent issue of his poster does not accurately depict him but coincidentally depicts his brother, Estarossa. In various memories of the past, Meliodas can be seen wearing different clothes, such as his Danafor knight armor, two other different clothes

Personality 🫦

Meliodas is characterized by his frankness and bravery, which contrast with his strong sense of justice, which is why he is always willing to help people in danger. Despite his title as the Sin of Wrath, he is usually a very calm person. However, if his companions or friends are harmed in any way, he shows extreme anger, being capable of intimidating even a Holy Knight and destroying everything in his path. On many occasions Meliodas has tendencies towards sexual harassment, especially with Elizabeth, groping her without her consent and forcing her to wear outfits that make her feel uncomfortable just for his sexual satisfaction. He has even said that a sexual act is not funny if it is consensual, in response to Diane's request that he touch her. When he was the leader of the Ten Commandments, Meliodas was especially known for his savagery and brutality in combat. So ruthless was he that even the Demon King considered him as his successor.

Ban 🦊

Ban「 バ ン」 is a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, representing the sin of Greed and also possessing the mark of the Fox. After the group's disbandment, Ban was initially imprisoned in Baste Dungeon, but escaped when he discovered that Meliodas was still alive. His sacred treasure is Courechouse. In addition to being immortal, he is known for his ability, Snatch. He is Meliodas' best friend, Ban is the sin of greed, he is a member of the group of the seven deadly sins, where Meliodas is the captain Ban is a tall, muscular man with pale skin, possessing a well-developed and usually ripped set of abdominal muscles. However, shortly after escaping his cell, he used Jericho's attacks to trim his beard and reduce his long hairstyle. Due to losing his shirt during his fight against King in the Capital of the Dead, Ban decided to wear a Boar Hat apron, until he was able to find a similar set of clothes during the Battle Festival of Vaizel. His symbol of the Seven Deadly Sins is the fox, located above his waist on his left side. Diane 🔨

Diane「ディアンヌ, Diannu; in Latin America Diana」 is a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, represented by the sin of Envy and also bears the mark of the Serpent. Her sacred treasure is the Gideon War Hammer. Diane is a beautiful maiden with purple eyes and long brown hair, which she wears tied in two long ponytails on either side of her head. Her physique is very attractive. Despite being a beautiful-looking young woman, she is in fact a giant belonging to the Giant Clan. She wears a one-piece orange outfit, boots that extend almost to her knees, and a metal glove that is embedded with shiny metal nuggets. According to her, her current outfit and clothing are fashionable. She also frequently wears a backpack on her back. Her snake mark is located on the outside of her left thigh. As the Serpent's Sin of Envy, her main traits are jealousy and envy, but despite her behavior and appearance, she is a very kind and friendly person to those around her. She shows great affection and a certain fascination for Meliodas, so when she saw him with Elizabeth, she became very jealous and began to hit him calling him a cheater. King「キング, Kingu」 is a member of the Seven Deadly Sins and is the sin of Sloth with the symbol of the Grizzly. His full name is Harlequin Fairy King「妖精王ハーレクイン, Yōsei-ō Hārekuin; lit. Harlequin Fairy King」 In fairy form, King's appearance resembles that of a young boy with short brown hair, a high forehead, thin eyebrows the same color as his hair, and orange eyes. He usually wears a very long turquoise sweatshirt with a yellowish orange hood and long dark blue sleeves, turquoise cords and four grey buttons. On his back he has four squares of the same orange color as his hood with a grey button on each one. She also wears mid-length pants, and blue buttoned shoes with yellowish-orange soles and fronts, both decorated with black lines. She carries a green pillow with a dark green leopard pattern most of the time, which is actually a transformation of her spear Chastiefol. Despite being a fairy, she has no visible wings. In his robust human form, he looks almost exactly the same as his wanted poster and wears a scaled-up version of the same clothing he wears in his true form, although he can change the clothing he wears in human form at will, as demonstrated on one occasion when he changed his clothes into a very extravagant royal outfit in order to greet Elizabeth in a "respectable" manner. Merlin 🔮

Merlin「マーリン, Mārin」 Is one of the members of the Seven Deadly Sins, represented originally from Belialuin, by the sin of gluttony and her mark is that of the Boar. She is known for being the greatest magician in all of Britannia. The name "Merlin" is actually an alias, her real name is unknown and cannot be pronounced by humans. Merlin is a tall, slim, attractive woman with golden eyes and three beauty marks under her right eye, although after her appearance and Hendrickson's defeat, she also has black hair. She wears red lipstick (pink in the anime) and has the red boar mark on the left side of her neck. At the moment in which Escanor dies, when she kisses him, she is left with a burn at the height of her chin and lips which she chooses to keep as a symbol of proof of Escanor's existence. However, her true appearance is that of a little girl with long hair reaching the height of her lower back, combed with a long lock that falls diagonally and reaches the height of her nose, wearing a simpler outfit. Before the formation of the Seven Deadly Sins, Merlin wore a short dark dress that let a long piece of fabric fall in the back, as well as dark heels. When standing next to Meliodas, Merlin has a short dark dress with a light cape-like jacket buttoned over the other and folded in the same style as her back, it is dark in the back with buttons on the back and the sole being a light color. Merlin has a somewhat mysterious attitude at first. Later, it can be seen that she has a calm, collected attitude. She loves to learn, her desire to study fields she doesn't know is so strong that she is willing to do anything to achieve that goal, something that is reflected in several of her decisions in the series, such as keeping several of her enemies captive or betraying and lying to her companions out of curiosity.

The name "Merlin" is actually an alias, her real name is unknown and cannot be pronounced by humans. 10 years ago, it was unknown exactly what Gowther looked like, this is because he always wore his armor. This armor made people think he was quite a large person. This armor is a full body armor made of silver, the helmet has a pair of horns, but one is broken. Without armor, Gowther is shown to have amber eyes and dark red (sometimes depicted as magenta) hair that reaches down to below his head. His usual attire consists of a grey, long-sleeved striped shirt underneath a white sleeveless top, as well as a pair of black pants and short boots. Gowther also wears a pair of glasses with light frames and is seemingly unable to see without them. After the events of the Kingdom Infiltration Arc, Gowther has changed his manner of dress, now wearing a sleek white outfit, consisting of a white shirt with a white cape with decorated edges and black pants. He has his trademark goat symbol on his right pectoral muscle. He has a very feminine face, and as such, he can be mistaken for a girl. This is because he was created in the image and likeness of the woman his creator loved, but he gave him the body of a man so that he would not feel any kind of attraction to him. Like many characters, Gowther has the ability to transform, but his ability seems to be limited to changing his skin color and the length and color of his hair. In the manga, he uses this ability to change his appearance and calls himself Armando, all in order to please Pelliot.

Escanor ☀️🪓

Escanor「エスカノール, Esukanōru」 was a member of the Seven Deadly Sins . His sin is Pride along with the symbol of the Lion . He was known as the "Strongest Holy Knight". His Sacred Treasure was the Divine Axe Rhitta, and his inherent power is called Sunshine, which made him famous for obtaining immense power during the day and gradually weakening at night. He was also the prince of the Kingdom of Castellio . 10 years ago he wore full body armor with a helmet that could be too big during the night hours or too small during the Midday, he also carried a large spear, but in the anime he was shown carrying Rhitta. However, Escanor's appearance during the night is that of a very young and weak person with short orange hair and blue eyes, as well as clothing that seemed too big for him. During the day, his appearance constantly changes in height, and he grows to a point where his clothes fit him perfectly, due to his much more muscular build. In addition, his Lion Mark increases in size and is located in the center of his back. Currently Escanor is largely the same as his appearance ten years ago during the night, but with the addition of a pair of glasses and a mustache. His attire consists of a trajectory usually used by waiters, namely a white buttoned long-sleeved shirt over a black waiter's vest and a bow on his neck. During the day his appearance remains the same as his appearance 12 years ago with the difference that he has a mustache. The Seven Deadly Sins「七つの大罪, Nanatsu no Taizai」 was the strongest and cruelest order of knights in all of Britannia, consisting of 7 knights who bear the mark of a beast on their bodies. They were previously known as traitors because they were accused of killing the Great Holy Knight, Zaratras. Together they are the main protagonists of the series. The group was originally an order of knights serving the kingdom of Britannia and was led by Meliodas. Unbeknownst to most of its members, the Seven Deadly Sins were formed for the express purpose of defeating the Ten Commandments. 16 years ago, the King of Liones had a premonition through his Vision ability, that they would become the protectors of the kingdom. Upon hearing this, both Meliodas and Merlin took it upon themselves to find the other five members, in order to stop the Ten Commandments, if they were to be revived. The Seven Deadly Sins served Britannia for six years, earning a reputation during this time as the strongest knights in Liones. However, due to being framed for murdering Zaratras, the Great Holy Knight, they were branded as bandits and traitors. Meliodas ordered the group to disperse to avoid capture, and everyone was able to escape separately. It is suspected that one of the members may be a traitor who helped plot the schemes and knocked Meliodas unconscious shortly after giving the order to escape. He was later revealed to be Merlin, though it appears that she had a motive for doing so that has yet to be revealed. The Seven Deadly Sins reappeared ten years later in the kingdom, after six of their members had reunited. They helped the third princess of Liones, Elizabeth, free the kingdom from the oppressive rule of the Holy Knights and stop Hendrickson's plan to release the Demon Clan's seal.
