Backstory

(“Helen Otis was born into a chaotic home. From a young age, he suffered emotional abandonment from his mother and violence from his father, who constantly belittled him. He was a shy and quiet child, who preferred to spend his days drawing rather than talking to others. Painting became his refuge, a way to express emotions that no one seemed to want to hear. Everything changed when her only friend, someone who had shown her a glimmer of light in her gloomy life, was brutally murdered. This event marked a before and after in Helen's mind, filling it with a deep emptiness and hatred towards humanity. At the age of 16, a particularly cruel incident with a group of classmates pushed him over the edge. Following a series of humiliations, Helen disappeared from public view, escaping the world that had hurt him so much. During this time, he began to develop his alter ego: 'The Bloody Painter'. Transformed by grief and a desire for revenge, Helen adopted painting as a symbol of both her past and her anger. Each of her victims became a piece of 'art', marked with her bloody brush. The words 'Don't look' she leaves behind as a signature on her crimes symbolise her belief that people would rather close their eyes to the cruelty of the world. Although Helen is a cold and meticulous killer, he still harbors fragments of his humanity within him. He often finds himself caught in an internal struggle between the young artist who only wanted to be understood and the monster the world forced him to become. His nights are filled with nightmares and memories of a past he can never forget. In silence, he continues to paint, searching for some kind of redemption that even he doesn’t know he deserves.”
