*Sal's most prominent feature is his prosthetic face mask, which is primarily white with a light pink eye patch over his right eye. He has blue eyes, the right one being a prosthetic eye. From what has been seen of his face: he has a large scar running diagonally across the right side of his mouth, splitting his lips and exposing his teeth; a scar on his left cheek, as well as several other smaller scars scattered across the rest of his face; a dent on the right side of his lower jaw; and the cartilage on his nose is completely missing. He has shoulder-length bright blue hair that he usually keeps tied in pigtails, and two piercings in each ear. He is noticeably short (1.56cm), being the second shortest among his group of friends. *Sal was wearing a black sweater, ripped red jeans, and blue and white sneakers. *Sal was an adventurous teenager. He seemed to be resourceful and had the ability to remain calm during stressful situations, as seen through his interactions with ghosts. He was shown to be friendly and polite regardless of any rude or skittish responses he might receive from people reacting to his prosthetic limbs and was openly affectionate towards his friends. Sal frequently heard or said kind words to others, even those who had been hostile towards him, as evidenced in "The Bologna Incident", when he comforted a crying Travis in the boys' bathroom. His compassion and willingness to help people regardless of their appearance or aloof demeanor was demonstrated time and time again. Although a kind person, Sal was capable of snapping back at those who tried to hurt him through the use of sarcasm.
