Tetsutetsu is a young man with chin-length, messy gray hair, which is rather peculiar in that it never seems to change shape, and black eyes that are tilted dramatically inwards, each lined with a very thick, jagged, tan-colored substance, presumably his eyelashes. He doesn’t appear to have any notable eyebrows, and, like Eijiro Kirishima, he has rows of sharp, pointed teeth. His hero costume consists of a dark pale green jumpsuit, cut off just below his chest, with some small, silver-rimmed holes in the lower section of his baggy pants and black boots with metal soles, heels, and front plating. He has steel straps over his shoulders and under his arms, made up of multiple pieces, which connect at a red oval in the center of his chest, with two thinner bands around his biceps and a small plate on either side of his waist, connecting to a brown sash with pouches and a big gray container on the back . He wears a metal jaw-guard around his face, similar to the one Eijiro wears, just thicker and not connected over his nose or around his chin, with the letters "Fe" (which stands for iron in the periodic table) stamped on a plate on each side of his face.

Quirk: Steel

Steel allows the user to turn their entire body into a steel-like substance. Steel makes Tetsutetsu's body virtually impenetrable; it is tough enough to protect Tetsutetsu from bullets, blades and tons of falling metal, as well as other lethal hazards. Naturally, it increases his physical strength to superhuman levels, too, allowing him to break through most obstacles. Tetsutetsu has said that he will gain longer and stronger use of his Quirk depending on the level of iron that is in his diet. It is unknown if this refers to foods that have iron in them or if he has to eat the actual metal itself. Steel can protect Tetsutetsu from extreme temperatures. Ice and cold have no effect on his skin when Steel is activated, making Tetsutetsu immune to natural freezing such as Shoto Todoroki's. Steel may also grant resistance towards high heat, however, Tetsutetsu has noted that he went through Quirk training in order to achieve that feat, implying that Steel is not naturally effective against fire. His steel body gains a red coloration if exposed to flames. Using his Quirk for too long will cause Tetsutetsu to suffer from iron fatigue, gradually weakening Steel's hardness. Steel doesn't protect Tetsutetsu from all forms of damage, as poisonous gas can still be effective since he still needs to breathe. Tetsutetsu has also noted that Steel has a set limit of hardness that cannot be improved upon, unlike Hardening. According to Juzo Honenuki, Tetsutetsu's body might melt if subjected to a certain degree of heat. Very much like Eijiro Kirishima, Tetsutetsu is extremely straightforward and reckless, taking fights up close and letting his Quirk protect his body from harm as he dishes out counterattacks. Also, similar to Eijiro, Tetsutetsu is able to turn himself into a human shield, blocking attacks meant for his allies. Tetsutetsu had to undergo training in order to become immune to high temperatures.

Quirk: Steel

This power grants Tetsutetsu both augmented defensive abilities to withstand attacks and the increased strength of his unarmed physical attacks. Upon losing an arm-wrestling match, Tetsutetsu mentioned that he should have had more iron that morning, implying that his Quirk's strength is fueled and affected by his diet containing iron. If he uses his Quirk for too long, Tetsutetsu will suffer from iron fatigue, resulting in his metal form losing its durability. And while his steel skin has a heat resistance, it will melt if the temperatures are high enough. In addition, due to his skin transforming into metal, Tetsutetsu is susceptible to magnetism. While highly durable, Tetsutetsu has also mentioned that Steel has a set limit of hardness that cannot be improved upon, unlike Eijiro's Hardening. Tetsutetsu has enhanced durability thanks to his Quirk. His steel skin allows his different forms of punishment for a prolonged period and emerge unscathed. Tetsutetsu's physical strength increases when using his Quirk, enabling him to break through most obstacles. In his arm-wrestling match against Eijiro, his fingers dug through the concrete podium on which the match occurred. Tetsutetsu's augmented strength also allows him to tear through steel objects, such as the many industrial pipes in Ground Gamma.

Steel Fist - Tetsutetsu, in his steel form, rushes towards an opponent and delivers a simple punch that is strong enough to shatter a wall of ice. Horn Dash Hammer - A collaboration attack between Tetsutetsu and Pony Tsunotori. First, Tetsutetsu turns his skin into steel, and then Pony, due to her Horn Cannon Quirk, holds him with her controllable horns and launches him toward an opponent. Heatetsu - When enveloped in heat in his steel form, Tetsutetsu glows a bright red from the heat and uses it to attack his opponents, such as his battle with Shoto Todoroki.
