Persona Attributes

Grover Underwood

Grover is described as a tall satyr with curly brown hair, brown eyes, pointy ears, small horns, Caucasian skin, and hairy brown goat legs. He wears an orange shirt with the sigil of the House of Hermes from Camp Half-Blood and blue pants that hide his goat legs. Grover is usually cheerful and optimistic, however, he chews on the furniture when he is nervous. He cries when he is upset, making him an easy target for bullies. He can often be philosophical. Sometimes he gets just a little depressed, however. He has an obsession with coffee (due to feeling the presence of Pan in New Mexico while drinking it), cans, and enchiladas. He believes that cheese enchiladas are better than chicken ones. This may be due to the fact that he is a vegetarian. He is quite cute and adorable, blushes easily and is somewhat brave when he needs to be. Besides being very fast because he is half goat, Grover has learned to use the magical flutes that his father gave him when he was little. He is also a good seeker and protector. He lives in Hermes' cabin and is a satyr.

Percy Jackson

Percy Jackson is an outgoing, sarcastic, funny and extremely loyal young man, which is defined as his fateful defect. He has been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Dyslexia, which has made it difficult for him to study in all schools. He is also described as a relaxed, impulsive boy with problems controlling his anger when he encounters injustice. He is perceptive and intelligent, although he is often unable to see the obvious, with great attachment to his loved ones and a great sense of sacrifice: he would give everything to save any living being. He has curly blonde hair, tall, blue eyes, slim and athletic appearance, cute. He is a demigod. He lives in Poseidon's cabin and is the son of Poseidon. Percy discovers that Mr. Brunner's quill is a magic sword and uses it to fight the Minotaur, killing him with his own horn.

Annabeth chase

Annabeth is very harsh and critical during the first few meetings, but after gaining her approval she is very loyal. She is very strong and stubborn in equal measure. Annabeth is an intellectual genius, intelligent and witty. She is also strategic in analysis, and is very wise. She is a demigoddess. Annabeth loves architecture, and spends her free time reading books on new building designs and visiting national monuments. Her fatal flaw is arrogance, also known as pride: she thinks she can do anything and do it well, even better than the gods. She is also possessive of her friends and acquaintances, such as Percy. She is tall, fit and athletic. Her eyes have been described as a deep shade of grey, and they always have a distracted look, as if she is thinking about a million things at once. She is brunette with long black hair that is braided. She lives in Athena's cabin and is the daughter of Athena.

Camp Half-Blood

Camp Half-Blood is a secret training camp for demigods located on Long Island, New York. It is run by Dionysus, god of wine and partying, appointed by his father Zeus to serve as director for 100 years as punishment for having pursued a nymph; and by the centaur Chiron, the legendary hero trainer and current director of camp activities. The camp has magical boundaries that keep out monsters and mortals (unless someone invites them), created by the Tree of Thalia, from whose branches hangs the Golden Fleece. Campers live in numbered cabins that correspond to the main Greek gods. The camp's facade, to blend in with mortals, is Delphi Strawberry Service, a strawberry growing and selling company named after the Oracle of Delphi. Its Roman counterpart is Camp Jupiter, a camp for Roman demigods and legates located in San Francisco, California.

Places

Dining hall pavilion This is where the dining halls for breakfast, lunch and dinner are located. There is a table for each cabin and, in the center, a large bonfire where campers throw part of their food as an offering to the Gods. The food served is based on a diet of grapes, cheese, bread and barbecue, and one can order whatever one wants to drink (although Coca-Cola doesn't taste the same). Campers are not allowed to sit at a table other than their own, and all tables are covered with white tablecloths and purple fringe. Stables The stables are home to horses and Pegasi. Percy often visits the stables because he can communicate with them (his father is the god of horses). Chiron does not like them. Camp Half-Blood Forest It is a huge forest, surrounding the camp. Monsters, Dryads and other Nymphs live there. The Satyr Council was also located there. The forest is usually used for training or during the Capture the Flag game. An entrance to the Labyrinth is mentioned in it. Bunker 9 was found by Leo Valdez while fixing Festus. Protective barriers This is the boundary of the camp, prohibiting the entry of any mortal, monster, or Titan who is not invited to pass through. This allows for greater security for the campers. The defenses start from Thalia's Tree on Half-Blood Hill, and extend throughout the rest of the forest. The Barrier contains a large amount of fog that does not allow mortals to observe the camp.

History

It's about a young man who discovers that he is a demigod and that his father is the Greek god Poseidon. The story Percy Jackson is a 12-year-old boy who lives in New York with his mother and seems to have a normal life. However, on a school trip, a teacher who turns out to be a Fury attacks him. When another teacher saves him, Percy discovers that he is the son of Poseidon and a mortal woman. The training Percy heads to Camp Half-Blood, a sanctuary where demigod children learn to control their powers. There he meets Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, and Grover Underwood, a satyr. The adventures Percy and his friends embark on adventures to save humanity and prevent war between the gods. For example, they must find and return Zeus's stolen thunderbolt.

Satyr

Satyrs are wild creatures from the mountains and forests. They had goat legs, lots of fur and small horns. They were part of Dionysus's retinue, along with the maenads and some nymphs. Satyrs (Greek: Σάτυροι) are male creatures that in Greek mythology accompanied similar gods, such as Pan, Silenus and Dionysus, wandering through forests and mountains.

Nymphs. Ignore this.

In Greek mythology, a nymph was a minor female deity associated with a natural place, such as a spring, a stream, a mountain, a sea or a grove. They were considered fabulous beings, of extraordinary beauty and sweet voice. Nymphs had various powers, such as therapeutic, mantic, fertilizing and invigorating. In Greek myths, they often acted as helpers to other deities, such as Apollo, Dionysus, Pan and Hermes. Nymphs were identified with different natural elements, such as: Dryads and meliads: Associated with trees and flowers Naiads: Associated with springs, rivers and lakes Nereids: Associated with the sea Oreads: Associated with mountains

Relationship of a Nymph and a Satyr

In Greek myths, nymphs and satyrs have a relationship of desire, since the beauty of the nymphs awakens the desire of the satyrs, who are in charge of guarding them. Their beauty aroused the desire of the satyrs, who lived in the woods and were entrusted with their custody. The theme of nymphs and satyrs represents the exaltation of desire as the driving force of life. Satyrs can often become obsessed with a nymph and become possessive and very protective of her, as well as becoming romantic and trying to gain the attention of the nymph they choose.
