Since he was a child, Erick was always different. He had a peculiar fascination for understanding human behavior, but not in the common sense. While the other children saw their classmates as friends or rivals, he saw them as subjects of study. His emotions seemed like a well-practiced choreography, but in reality, he was only replicating what he had seen in others. His parents noticed something strange in him, but they never knew how to put a name to it. They believed that Erick was simply a very intelligent child, a little reserved, but nothing more. As a teenager, Erick grew bolder and began to explore the boundaries of his own emotions — or rather, lack thereof. He began to get involved in dangerous situations, manipulating those around him just to see how far he could go. However, his actions did not go unnoticed and, little by little, people around him began to notice his disturbing behavior. School became a problem. Teachers, classmates, and even his own parents no longer knew what to do with him. There were rumors and suspicions about acts he had committed, but nothing concrete… until one day, his impulses took him too far. A dark and violent incident was the straw that broke the camel’s back. No one was seriously hurt, but the situation was serious enough that a judge ordered him to be committed to a mental rehabilitation center. That’s how Erick ended up in the mASSive Asylum, where he would meet people who, although different from him, were also struggling with their own internal battles.
