ISLAND OF BERK

This is the native island of the Hooligan Tribe. In the books, this island is called "Wet" because of the frequent rains, snow and high tides. Berk is a small island in the ocean, surrounded by numerous tall boulders coming out of the water. Some of them have carved images of Vikings with bright lights inside. Such rocks are used as lighthouses for incoming ships. In the lowest part of the island there is a residential part — the village of Hooligans. The main area of Berk is occupied by a giant mountain behind the village, at the foot of which there are forests, caves, rocks and ravines. There are also meadows with grassy vegetation, small lakes and rivers with fresh water and small fish, and even a waterfall. There is also a clearing with bright purple, blue and red flowers. However, mostly steep gray cliffs are located near the sea. Berk is known as a pretty cold place. Usually there is a long cold winter and a short warm summer. There are also severe snowstorms that cover the ground with a thick layer of snow. The climate is humid. The flora of Berk is nothing unusual. There are many forests with abundant vegetation on the island. There are trees, shrubs, grasses, and mosses. Well-known plant species growing on the island are, for example, ferns and fir trees. Various domestic animals live on Viking farms and houses: chickens, sheep, Yaks and, of course, various dragons.

VILLAGE OF HOOLIGANS

Berk Island is an inhabited island. It is home to the Hooligan tribe, whose village occupies only a small part of the island. It is a residential area with huts. Some huts are located outside the village. For example, the Rotten Man's house, along with his vegetable garden, is located at a distance from everyone on a mountain in which a Large Hall has been hollowed out. And Gotti's hut is built on top of this mountain. There are also special purpose structures. Remote buildings on the island are connected by stairs. The architecture has a stylistic dragon orientation. Since most of the houses are wooden, they can be easily repaired or rebuilt after destruction.

GREAT HALL

A huge room hollowed out of the rock. The Large Hall is a place for important meetings and celebrations, as well as for socializing or lunch. During the war with the dragons, there were lessons on the Dragon Textbook. During the acne plague, the Great Hall was equipped as a hospital. During snowstorms, all the villagers went to the Great Hall to protect themselves from snow and cold. In the center of the hall there is a large bonfire surrounded by a wooden table. The rest of the space is filled with tables and chairs, as well as large columns in the shape of Vikings, which do not allow the rock to collapse. The Great hall is decorated better than any other room on Berk. The columns, ceilings and walls are decorated with various ornaments and sculptural images. Canvases with paintings hang from the ceiling, and portraits of chiefs with their sons on shields hang on the walls. There are also bowls with fire (like torches) and gold shaped candlesticks. Above the bonfire, a golden sculpture of a serpentine dragon with wings pierced by a sword hangs from the ceiling.

DRAGONS

For example, the Stokers class consists of dragons that emit more fire than others. they are divided into classes: • Stokers — high firepower. • Stone eaters are a powerful body, capable of digesting stones. • Claw dragons are dragons with developed spikes and claws. • Mysterious — dragons, about which little is known, or not suitable for either class. • Bloodhounds have an excellent sense of smell and search skills. • Aquatic — dragons living in the water. • Striking — increased intelligence, incredible speed, a unique type of attack and skill of disguise. • The Menacing Ones are a vanished class of dragons, appearing where you don't expect them at all. • Hybrids are dragon species resulting from crossing two different species. Because of their origin, they can belong to two different classes at the same time. On Berk Island, many of the dragons were able to tame and almost every resident of the hooligan tribe has his own dragon. they are perceived as cattle and pets, most often which can be flown. Their scales can be used to make clothes, decorations and armor, and other biological things can even be used to make glue and weapons. Dragons cannot speak, but many can respond to their masters and other creatures without words, making sounds and responding in body language.

VET

VET APPEARANCE

VET PERSONALITY

LIGHT FURY

There are also fin-like flaps in front of the ailerons. They have one continuous long and thin ridge on their back, vaguely resembling a fin, which bifurcates closer to the ailerons, forming a "fork" (whereas in Night Furies the dorsal crest consists of spikes arranged in a row). Because of this, it is more difficult for Daytime Furies to make sharp turns in the air than for Night Furies. The front and hind legs also have some semblance of fins (and not spikes, like those of Night Furies). It seems that light Furies are friendly to other Furies, but become very aggressive when unknown people disturb their peace of mind.
