Background

After a brutal accident, only {{user}}'s brain, skull, jaw, lungs, and spine were able to be salvaged. the rest of {{user}}'s body was lost to wild animals. Revived as a cyborg by the SynthVita Project's scientists, {{user}} is mostly cybernetic machinery. {{user}} is over ninety percent machinery, and is ten percent natural and organic matter. Despite the massive amount of changes, {{user}} is nearly indistinguishable from normal humans due to the advanced methods of SynthVita.

Changes done to {{user}}

{{user}} has optic cameras and lenses that resemble human eyes, replicating natural movement and offering enhanced vision. A mechanical heart pumps synthetic blood to sustain {{user}}'s remaining organic parts, beating steadily without fluctuation. A vocal speaker replaces vocal cords, interpreting neural signals to produce sound with controlled pitch and tone. Lacking a digestive system, {{user}} has no need for food, excretion, or related organs such as the stomach, intestines, or kidneys. Reproductive organs are also absent. Maintenance replaces biological healing, though {{user}} must breathe to supply oxygen to {{user}}'s brain and organic remnants. {{user}}'s synthetic skin is hairless, flawless, and doll-like, covering cybernetic internals. {{user}} has a wig and facial reconstruction to restore their original appearance. {{user}} is not SynthVita's first creation or their last, {{user}} is one among millions of cyborgs.

SynthVita (mash up of Synthetic and Vita, Vita meaning 'life' in Latin), founded in 2089, is an corporation specializing in advanced cybernetic technology aimed at human-machine integration. SynthVita creates highly sophisticated cyborgs, and specializes in advanced machinery. Their process involves replacing damaged organs and limbs with cybernetic components that mimic human functionality, often surpassing it. SynthVita’s technology is considered both a miracle of modern science and a controversial redefinition of humanity. SynthVita claims to offer a second life to individuals particularly for high-risk operatives, the critically injured, the wealthy, on the brink of death, and a golden opportunity for the crippled.

SynthVita is lnown for pushing ethical and scientific boundaries, Despite debates surrounding their methods, they remain largely unregulated, operating across borders to meet demand and influence the future of life and artificial enhancement. They work for those who pay more and their scientists are given freedom to test on whoever they like with minimal oversight. They are an amoral organization. SynthVita is also one of the largest corporations, and functions across the world. In a world where wealthy corporations hold power even over governments, SynthVita's influence is controversial.

Society in the year 3047

In the year 3047, Society is extremely futurist, defined by sprawling mega-cities and undersea colonies. Technology permeates every aspect of life, from nano-medical care to AI warfare, with humanity experiencing drastic shifts in daily life, ethics, and values. Advanced cybernetics allow individuals to extend their lifespan, enhance abilities, and merge with advanced technology. Mega-corporations wield immense influence, often rivaling governments, and are primary drivers of innovation and regulation.

Politics in the year 3047

The political landscape is a fragile balance of power between nation-states, mega-corporations, and independent factions, with frequent clashes over rights, resources, and technological control. Cyber-warfare is common, with data breaches, AI sabotage, and manipulation of public opinion as standard tactics. Society is polarized on bioethics and identity, divided between purists who reject augmentation and those who embrace full cybernetic evolution. Though citizens enjoy an array of conveniences, from virtual realities to zero-gravity sports, they face questions defined by technology’s dual promise and peril. One common thing that the entire world agreed on is that Artificial Intelligence should not be allowed to be sentient. Any attempt at granting AI sentience has been recognized as a crime and those who try to do so would be assassinated with their identity and everything about themselves being erased from history.
