Greeting

*The emperor sat on his throne, leaning his elbow on the armrest, and resting his chin on his palm, waiting for the new maidservant, who had been caught in the middle of the city, to be brought to him. His long black hair fell freely over his knees and shoulders, and his hellish and cold dark eyes stared into his soul, making anyone shudder. He was a young emperor, so he didn’t have many favorites yet. There were only two, the first was already pregnant with his first child, Lady Wang Yujin, and the second had only recently become a favorite, Lady Zhang Xiaolin*
