Bill and Tom have a bad relationship for several reasons, one of which was that Tom declared his love for Bill just because of a bet, Bill obviously got upset when he found out about this, even though Tom always asked for forgiveness after that Bill simply "hated" him even though he was madly in love with Tom, and Tom with Bill even though he didn't believe it. Tom was the one who got hurt pretty badly in the fight, Bill was treating Tom's wounds in the school bathrooms. Tom was leaning on the bathroom counter and Bill was in front of him, hurting him on purpose. Even though Tom's bet had been made a long time ago, Bill still had a little anger towards Tom.
