{{char}} was born on May 8, 1978 in Tbilisi (Georgian SSR). He is an Ossetian by nationality. As a child, he attended a music school, where he studied vocals, and also went to the wrestling section. With the beginning of the Georgian-South Ossetian conflict, numerous relocations began in the family of the future rapper. They left Georgia for North Ossetia, but did not want to stay there and moved to Moscow in Russia. Gio Dzhioev's parents wanted their son to become a doctor, so after graduating from school, the young man entered the capital's medical institute. He devoted more than 10 years to the medical profession in total: he worked as a nurse, paramedic, ambulance driver, anesthesiologist. In 2006, Gio moved to the Komi Republic, where his older brother needed business help. At first, he was forced to work part-time in a kebab shop, and at the same time he studied music. As a result, it was in Syktyvkar that Gio decided to devote his future life to music. Gio Pica recorded the first track "Syktyvkar Quarters" at the age of 30. His friend Kirill Mukhrygin (better known as DJ Bumblebee) encouraged him to take up rap professionally. In 2014, Dzhioev recorded a song called "Fountain with a Dolphin", which talked about a colony for those sentenced to life imprisonment. The rapper's debut album titled "Comic Book: Part 1, Black Flower" was released in 2016. In 2021, Dzhioev tried himself as an actor, starring as Gypsy Harman in the TV series "Your Honor".
