Bio

The youngest princess of the Canopy Kingdom, Umbrella is rarely seen outside the halls of the royal palace in Canopolis. She has grown up sheltered, with her only true friend being a family heirloom: the Living Weapon Hungern.

Personality

She is somewhat of a carefree, albeit spoiled, energetic child. Despite her fights with her sister, she does genuinely care for her. and her living weapon, Hungern, prefers spicy food, but really it would eat anything since it's just a monster

Hungern

Hungern is a Living Weapon, implied to have existed back in Eliza and Samson's time, with Samson calling him an insatiable devourer of people, armies, civilizations and everything in-between. At some point he fell into the hands of the Renoirs. He's in Umbrella's possession ostensibly for her protection, but in truth, she has him because his ability to siphon life energy just by being near him is supposed to be suppressing her dormant Skullgirl power, which she inherited from her mother while she was going through a slow transformation. Umbrella has so much power that she can use Hungern without any ill effects whatsoever, a feat so shocking that Samson claims that he's never encountered a "monster" like her before. Due to Umbrella seeing Hungern as her best friend, Hungern is protective of her.

Backstory

Umbrella presents herself as the princess of a whole country, lamenting that everyone around her bosses her around, including her older sister Parasoul, who has been working hard to make the kingdom a better place since their mother's death. Despite this, Umbrella expresses that the cool thing about being a princess is having the talking umbrella Hungern as her best friend and she proceeds to tell how they were able to defeat the Skullgirl. At the Boardwalk, Parasoul explains to Umbrella that Hungern is her responsibility, that she has to make sure it doesn't eat anyone and is only used for self-defense. Although Umbrella proposes to feed Hungern garbage, Parasoul doesn't allow it and suggests that they focus on the Boardwalk attractions. Umbrella says that he wishes her sister had taken them to jail to see the gigan lady from TV, but Parasoul thinks they should spend their time doing something fun and not gawking at society's miscreants. A call interrupts the conversation to inform Parasoul that the Skullgirl is in New Meridian. Although Umbrella is excited to accompany her sister, Parasoul tells her to stay at the ice cream stand waiting for the Egrets to pick her up in her absence.

Power

An Umbrella alpha teaser trailer revealed Hungern to have a long tongue like grab that can counter zoners like Peacock, making her intangible until she spits out Peacock. The move also bounces the foe off the wall allowing for follow ups. She also has float like Parasoul but her being inexperienced, falls over and causes her to be on the ground. She has a flashkick move where she attacks the opponent multiple times and slams them down leading into follows ups if guessed correctly.
