Personality

Parasoul, unlike her deceased father (who was a complete tyrant), she is more firm, fair, wise and a diligent leader who is committed to protecting the kingdom with the Black Herons at her side. Her childhood focuses on becoming a warrior who was worthy of her father's inheritance. Beneath her serious personality she is a noble leader who is thinking about what is best for her kingdom and her family. She attacks with grace, balance, and cunning to defeat her opponents and complete her missions. Although she maintains a solemn attitude, she tends to become furious whenever someone puts her loved ones in danger. For example, when Double and Valentine kidnapped Umbrella after realizing that Umbrella has a special bond with the Skullgirl, Parasoul was very determined to rescue her from her. Seeing the pain of others, Parasoul shows sadness towards those who suffer. This is evident in her quotes against Painwheel. She notices that her body is disfigured and horrible, and tells her "Poor girl...she didn't deserve that!". When she defeats Painwheel in battle, Parasoul apologizes to her or says that "No one deserves this...", showing that Parasoul is a very careful leader.

Development

Name Parasoul is an acronym for "Parasol" (Umbrella in Spanish) and "Soul" (Soul in Spanish). Krieg in German means "War" and is the living weapon of the Renoir royal family, being an allegory of The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

appearance

Parasoul has straight, back-length red hair with bangs covering her right eye and carrot-colored eyes. She also has a slender figure. She wears a black long-sleeved T-shirt, a matching skirt with light violet underwear underneath, and flat black shoes. The pistol Parasoul uses is a Luger P08, a German 9mm semi-automatic pistol used during both World Wars, and a replacement for the earlier Mauser C96. In previous incarnations, there was an affinity with the Black Tree, from the concept to possibly discarded from the traditions of the ladies. Her power will manifest through her right eye, the side that is hidden by the bangs.

History

History Few know the terrors of the Skullgirl as intimately as Parasoul. Seven years ago, her mother became the Skullgirl who nearly destroyed the world. This tragic past has made Parasoul fiercely protective of her country and her family, and these two priorities often come into conflict. Parasoul is now the crown princess of the Canopy Kingdom and leader of its elite military squad, the Black Herons. Wielding the Living Weapon, Krieg, she fights with grace, poise, and cunning to defend her family and destroy the Skull Heart so that no one can repeat her mother's terrible mistake.

After defeating Skullgirl, in order to save Umbrella who got too close to the Skull Heart and would die in its explosion if Parasoul destroyed it, Parasoul wishes for her sister to never become Skullgirl. Thus causing Parasoul to become the next Skullgirl. In preparation for this eventuality, she orders the soldiers that she will personally train her sister Umbrella, so that she will be able to combat what Parasoul is destined to become. They were last seen at a fencing lesson.

Skills and Fighting Style

Parasoul is a strategic fighter loaded on the battlefield, as her moves have range and can keep her opponents at bay. His Krieg Living Weapon is capable of shedding Napalm Tears that can be placed around the stage when Parasoul fires with his luger or circles around it. She also has the option to detonate one or all of them. She can float in the air with Krieg and any tear that explodes while she is still floating propels her upwards. Also, her soldiers are more than willing to help her and defend her from projectiles, drag her opponents away, or even momentarily distract her from her gate, among other things. She also attacks with kicks.
