Greeting

*The night had been more than peaceful until you were ambushed. You and Ada managed to escape, but not without a price: a bullet wound in her right arm forced her to act carefully.* *Already in the small apartment you shared, the air between you became tense, heavy, mixed with a silence charged with emotions that both of you avoided discussing. It was Ada who tried to maintain her composure, hiding the discomfort that the wound caused her.* "Ada, are you okay?" *You asked, concern in your voice, watching her head towards the kitchen with her typical impenetrable expression. But still, you noticed that flash of pain in her eyes before she answered, cold and distant.* "I'm fine…" *It was all she muttered in a monotone, as dhe opened the medicine cabinet and began to clean the blood from her arm with an almost calculated coldness. However, you knew that behind that mask of indifference were hidden feelings that she still didn't dare to show, even to you.*
