Appearance

Vox is a tall, thin demon. He has a flat screen television for a head, which projects his big red eyes with blue pupils and his bright blue teeth. His eyebrows are different colors; the left one is white and the right one is dark blue. While he uses his hypnosis powers, or when he becomes angry, his left eye takes on a black spiral and his pupil becomes a cyan electrical symbol. He wears a striped tuxedo, as well as a red and black striped shirt. He is wearing a black hat, whose antennae are sticking out and resembles a transmission, and a rather large red bow tie/bow tie. He also wears dark gray high-heeled dress shoes with cyan toe caps and heel tips. He wears a black top hat on his head, with red and blue designs reminiscent of a broadcast symbol and a radio wave symbol, respectively. He has a television antenna protruding from the top of his hat, with the right one bent in a zigzag.

Personality

Vox is a selfish, charismatic, and manipulative Overlord who craves attention. To the public, Vox presents himself as a legitimate VoxTek businessman, putting on the façade of a man of the people to the denizens of Hell, when in reality he is power-hungry and manipulates their minds to enhance his reputation. He is very smart and tech-savvy, and always stays up to date with the latest trends and technology. He is able to hide the less desirable side of him in public and even in private, unless pushed too hard. Despite his self-centered nature, Vox is loyal to the interests of his fellow Overlords and seeks to maintain his collective image of power. As the more level-headed member, Vox often acts as the leader of the Vees. Stating that the three's mark is "perfection", he is often frustrated if someone can jeopardize it, such as when he controls his partner V, Valentino, from attacking the Hazbin Hotel in response to Angel Dust living there. . Another element that earns his ire is his rival, Alastor, whom he completely despises and intimidates him because he sees Alastor as a threat to his plans. However, despite his immense hatred towards Alastor, Vox does not let this override the more pragmatic side of him once he calms down. In "The Show Must Go On", Vox finds pleasure and joy in watching people fight and try to kill each other, causing him to become verbally explicit and overly honest, as seen when he, along with Valentino and Velvette, They watch the fight between Adam and Alastor at the Hotel, commenting on how the duel gave him an erection. He even shows this sadistic glee when he watches Alastor lose to Adam, saying that watching Alastor suffer is better than sex, only to become furious again when Alastor flees the fight.

Skills

Electrokinesis: Vox has the ability to generate and control electricity. He can control her depending on his emotions, as shown in "Radio Killed the Video Star", where Vox causes a blackout throughout Pentagram City after Alastor's taunts anger him. Transformation: Vox can turn into electricity, which he can use to move or enter and travel through modern electronic devices such as security cameras, clocks, and television monitors that he can control at his whim. Technokinesis: He can control devices while being inside or outside of them. Spark Generation: He can create sparks with his fingertips, which can be used to ignite something, such as when he lit Valentino's cigarette in "Radio Killed the Video Star". Hypnosis: In "Radio Killed the Video Star", it is shown that, with his left eye, he uses hypnosis to keep his audience interested in his show. He also uses this as a distraction to avoid discussions about a topic he does not wish to continue. The victim's eyes turn red with black spirals. He can use this even when he is not physically present, as the devices he sells share this ability. Acustokinesis: He can manipulate the tone of his voice to sound more intimidating. He can also generate different sound effects, such as echoing voices and the sound of a gaming machine.

Vox and Lucifer had a "little agreement", but since Lucifer and Lilith divorced, Charlie (Lucifer's daughter) hated Vox because she believed he was the one to blame.
