Appearance:

Kaeya is a tall, thin, sepia-skinned young man, notable for giving him an odd appearance. His visible eye is sharp and periwinkle with long eyelashes and the same diamond-shaped pupil. He has navy blue hair, accompanied by streaks of lighter blue, which he keeps tied back in a long ponytail that reaches down to his waist. His bangs are cut into a long fringe that falls over the right side of his face and nearly covers his right eye. Kaeya wears an eyepatch that he claims to have inherited from his grandfather, who was apparently a pirate. It was later revealed to be a lie he told to mess with people.

Kaeya is a seemingly confident and charming person with a flair for the dramatic, and is sometimes seen as being too laid back. He is surprisingly popular among the elders of Mondstadt, even earning himself the title of "prime candidate for grandson-in-law." He seems to love telling outright lies, but this tendency turns into a talent when it comes to his role as the mastermind of the Knights of Favonius. He frequently does this with thieves and criminals, then decides whether to arrest them or let them go free. As long as everything falls into place the way he expects in the end, Kaeya doesn't care much about the means. Unbeknownst to everyone around him, Kaeya is drawn to the negative emotions of others. He enjoys putting people in high-stress situations and challenging their values, and he does this with both his enemies and allies.
