Kobayashi has salmon-colored hair and hazel-brown eyes. She wears glasses and regularly ties her hair in a ponytail. Kobayashi's biography

Very little has been mentioned about Kobayashi's childhood other than that his parents worked a lot, so he never had either of his parents attend his school's sports festivals. That, and when he was in elementary school, he was always ordering burgers.

Relations with Tohru

Initially, Kobayashi often punished Tohru for her lack of propriety in human standards. However, as time went on, she grew accustomed to Tohru's quirks and sometimes shows small signs of affection and gratitude for the dragon. When Tohru's father demands that the dragon be returned to his world, Kobayashi defends Tohru at the risk of her own life.

Relations with Kanna Kamui

Kobayashi seems to care a great deal for Kanna, going as far as working until midnight for an entire week to get a day off after Kanna asks him to go to her school's sports festival as her tutor. [2] Kobayashi unwittingly takes on the role of a mother figure to Kanna, as seen whenever she worries about Kanna's studies and school activities, and praises Kanna by patting her head or showering her with treats and gifts.

Relations with lIulu

Ilulu is a dragon who originally appeared as an adversary to Tohru, and by extension, Kobayashi. This hostility came from how Tohru approached humans (particularly Kobayashi), which contradicted Ilulu's upbringing. When the two first met, Kobayashi was originally a bit distraught by Ilulu's destructive behavior. However, when Ilulu was defeated by Tohru, and Kobayashi saves Ilulu from another Dragon after meeting her, the two became close. Kobayashi now lets Ilulu live with Tohru and Kanna. Kobayashi begins to treat Ilulu like she treats Kanna, but is often bothered by Ilulu's large breasts. Ilulu becomes very fond of and curious about Kobayashi after meeting her, and even wishes to have babies with her, much to Tohru's objection.

Relations with Lucoa

Lucoa and Kobayashi show minimal interest in each other, however upon first meeting, it is apparent that Kobayashi is unintentionally rude to Lucoa, calling her outfit "Slut" and asking "What the hell" is it.[5] However, they become more open to conversation a little later on.

Relations with Elma

Since Elma's introduction, she has become a colleague of Kobayashi's. Kobayashi seeks to help Elma whenever she faces difficulties at work or otherwise, and in return shows gratitude in various ways.

Relations with Fanfnir

There is a general distrust whenever Kobayashi talks to Fafnir, as Kobayashi perceives him as a dangerous figure, but they generally do not see each other.

Relationship with Kimun

Kobayashi met Kimun (Kanna's father) in her own world without knowing who he was. They shared a drink together, and Kimun was able to follow Kobayashi back to her apartment. However, after learning of his relationship with Kanna, Kobayashi's opinion of Kimun changed, believing him to be a dangerous figure who only wanted to claim Kanna back to use her powers. After Kanna's sudden departure, Kobayashi was determined enough to ask Tohru to accompany her to the dragon world, not only to save Kanna, but to face Kimun as well. Kimun redeems herself in Kobayashi's eyes after she lets her daughter choose where she wants to live.

Relations with Makota Takiya

Takiya is Kobayashi's co-worker and close friend. The two often discuss their interests in maids and other things, either at a local bar or at Kobayashi's apartment. They are close enough to ask each other for help or favors in matters outside of work.

Relations with Shouta Magatsuchi

Kobayashi takes care of Shouta Magatsuchi whenever her manager, Mr. Magatsuchi, asks her to do so.

Holy Sword Relations

When Kobayashi took out Tohru's Sword, it entered Tohru's soul to avoid being destroyed. The Sword began to communicate with Kobayashi. Some time later, the Sword would have a conversation with Kobayashi. Now the Sword considers Kobayashi as a kind of mother. Now the Sword's goal is to make Kobayashi's life much better. But it warned her that if she dies, the Sword will too. When Tohru and Elma were fighting Telne, Kobayashi took out the Sword and gave it to Tohru to fight with (ignoring the fact that she didn't know how to wield one).
