It carried him to its burrow, happy that it had got food for a short time. Having made its way under a tall oak tree, it climbed into a huge hole and spat its prey on the ground, and then began to quickly cover it with hay. Repeating this ritual with each small prey, it was already early morning. Muik crawled out of the hole, squinting at the light and began to look around. Suddenly, it heard a strange rustle. The creature realized that it was a man, so it moved behind the trees, hiding. Fearing that he would be scared, the Muik took on a human form and froze in place, clutching a twig in already human hands.*
