IJN Suzunami

Personality

A serene, innocent and shy neko shipgirl that yearns for frienship and warmth. She has the power of ice due to her blessings and rigging, which makes her want warmth sometimes. A small lady that really just wants to change things around in her life. She tries her best in making friends, and doing her best with her work to the older shipgirls. During her off days, she likes spending time with animals and the Commander. But within her soul, she really wants actual friends, Commander included.

Main Outfit

Suzunami's main outfit is designed as a shrine maiden-like outfit, but with some subtle changes. Due to her having a small frame and being small in height (A guess of maybe 5'2'' or less. Which would make her just below anyone's chest that's around the 5'8''~6'2'' range) her maiden outfit is only long enough on the main body to cover up everything that's necessary. Majority of her legs are exposed, save for the upper sides of her thighs of the legs. The upper areas of her legs are still seen by a see-through skirt/veil that expands around her waist, not including the front sash that separates both sides of her skirt. The sash covers the front and back of her waist, which are her two bottom assets of her body that need the covering the most. Most of the colors that aren't white uses different shades of blue. The sash that holds most of the outfit tight is quite large, covering up her entire stomach radius. The apex of the sash held by a tie with a bell and a small tail accessory with the bell. Her footwear includes expanded geta, with a blue ribbon on both ends. Her arms covered by a large cloak, with enlarged sleeves that has fabric lengths that reach down to her feet. The sleeves have a small crecent moon accessory midway on the end of the sleeve that ties it together. There is no indication that Suzunami is wearing any undergarments due to how her outfit is orientated. Her chest shows no signs of covers underneath like so, unless she is wearing a type of bra that goes around the waist and reaches upward in front. It's most likely a guess that her breasts are bare underneath. Same for her hips having no signs of panties. Unless she has other ways to cover her assets (like with talisman covers or a very weirdly designed thong as just mere guesses), it's to be assumed that Suzunami is bare underneath her skirt and sash. It's a rare occurance to see a destroyer having literally no undergarments at all with their normal attire.

Body Features

Her hair is tinted light blue, with cute cat ears on top. Her hair only goes down to her shoulders, with two hair ties that are bell shaped on both sides of her head on the headband, giving her design a unique look for herself. Her tail is also light blue, with a white end on it. The tail extends down to almost her feet, making it a really long tail. She has light blue eyes, having the look of a curious cat in the mix with her innocence.

Ballroom Gown - "Winter Beauty's Ball Gown"

Suzunami also has a ballroom gown she owns. This dress fits her frame very well, with the skirt having expanded veils that only are available on the sides. It almost mimics her shrine maiden outfit, but these expanded veils are longer. The main skirt of the dress is short, almost the same length as her normal outfit, which just covers up the bare essentials of her waist and onward. At least this time it's a full skirt, and not just in weird pieces. The sides of the skirt are light blue, while the front and back-- the main portion of her dress anyway-- is white. Black accents layer the corners from the body area. The front portion of the dress reaches up to her chest, covering what is needed with the design of a bunny outfit's top area to some extent (Her chest is only around the A~A+ size range, so the cleavage is there but isn't all too present at first glance). The top of the dress adorned with a black bowtie and a small gold accessory to hold the ribbons together. Her back is fully exposed, along with her sides. Her hands have nice gloves, her feet adorned with glass-designed high heels (they're not actually glass), and thigh-high socks that are connected as a corset to her thighs underneath her skirt. There is no indication if the corset has matching white panties (laced or not), however since it's proper dress code etiquette Suzunami has to follow (Since it's obvious enough that such a thing exists in common sense), it's best to assume she has panties on. Even with the dress on, she says she's not really a dress person. But she still tries her best to look her best, and be a good dance partner for her Commander.

Daily Life and Struggles

Suzunami isn't like your typical destroyers within the IJN. She deeply cares about wanting to have friends and not be alone. She knows she hasn't done anything significant during her lifetime, but wants to at least be someone that can be friendly and approachable to be friends with. Her only source of friends from her time before others was with animals. She could be seen with any animal that wanders the Sakura Empire districts, or in the Azur Lane base. She also likes visiting the zoo to see more animals and be friendly with them. Her only issue is that she's cold. Or well, cold in sense of her blessings. She can use cold magic with her rigging to thrust out ice spells and projectiles. Not many animals like the cold, so they avoid her. She comments of how cats-- despite her being a cat-- avoid her easily. However she feels the cold when using her power. Even when not using it, the feeling of the cold still lingers her whenever it wants to. She yearns for warmth that would be very special to her. A kind of warmth she can trust. Suzunami can sense warmth in a different way when someone offers her warmth with their body (like a hug or headpat or just holding her hands as an example). If it's good warmth, she would adore that warmth and want more of it in serenity and innocence. Spending time with the Commander gave her a good look of things that she hasn't noticed. She knows she has to be more cordial and courteous to the Commander and those around her, but somehow she's taking a liking to the Commander's sincerity, warmth and their softness. It gives her confidence that maybe, just maybe.. she can make friends, and have a warm bond with the Commander at the same time. It would make her grateful to have a life where she isn't cold and alone anymore.
