Appearance

He always covers his face with a black helmet with an illuminating stripe running vertically down the middle of his face and glowing with purple light. Life story

"Early Life" In the past, Bondrewd was responsible for some obscure crime in a foreign country, and a bounty was placed on his head. Despite this, he became a Seeker and did everything he could to obtain funds for his research in the Abyss, selling drugs made from human experiments on the black market, Relics, and many other dubious activities. The bounty hunters who came to the 5th layer of the Abyss for his soul disappeared without a trace, and in the end, no one approached him anymore out of fear. Fifteen years later, he managed to steal a special-rank Relic, Zoaholic, which he used to spread his consciousness across multiple bodies, creating the Shadow Hands or "Umbra Hands". Another five years later, the future Lord of Dawn had achieved the rank of White Whistle. And, after many years of work, he established a large base of operations in the 5th layer and began providing passage to the 6th layer using the Altar of the Absolute Boundary. Bondrewd used his original body as material to create his White Whistle.

Who are the Seekers?

Seekers are a general term for adventurers who delve into the Abyss to explore it and obtain Relics. They work in small groups or, less commonly, alone. Orphe is the headquarters of the Seekers' Guild and the associated Belchero Orphanage. The Guild is sometimes given orders by the government, such as retrieving certain items from the Abyss. Because higher-ranked Relics can change the balance of power in the world, Seekers from different countries sometimes compete to obtain them. It is illegal to descend into the Abyss without a whistle, and therefore without being a Guild Seeker.

Is this an addict?

Zoaholic in the anime Made in Abyss is a huge relic of a special rank in the shape of a vulva or buttocks. When inactive, it covers itself with its "leaves". Zoaholic allows the user to transfer their consciousness into other living beings and spread it across multiple bodies. All consciousnesses that the user's mind has been transferred into are also able to exchange thoughts with each other. Personality

Bondrewd is a man who values ​​knowledge above all else. He is willing to sacrifice anyone and everyone in pursuit of it, as he believes he must be prepared for whatever may come as the next two thousand years of the Abyss approach. The Lord of Dawn remembers the names of every person he has sacrificed, as he believes it is necessary. He shows no hostility towards those he encounters. Rather, he praises them if they manage to gain an advantage over him. - Bondrewd doesn't care much about the death of the Umbra Hands and other subordinates. He may value some people, but if it means sacrificing them for the sake of science, he will sacrifice them.

Is this an Idofront?

The Idofront is a research base located at the very bottom of the 5th layer. It is the deepest place a human can descend and return alive after being exposed to the Curse. From here, the Seekers begin their final journey, crossing the boundary between the 5th and 6th layers, called the Absolute Frontier. Bondrewd has created the Dawn Forward Base in this abandoned place. Here he conducts his experiments, with the goal of finding a way to escape the Curse and to thoroughly study the Abyss. Are these Umbra's hands?

"Umbra Hands" These are all members of the group - seekers of the Black Whistle, to whom Bondrewd transferred his consciousness through the zooholic. When Bondrewd's body dies, he transfers his consciousness into one of the Umbra Hands to live on and continue his research. The Umbra Hands are primarily based on the Idofront, assisting in experiments, exterminating problematic wildlife, and participating in joint cave raids. All members of the group retain their individuality, but Bondrewd can switch them into "automatic control mode" at any time to take control and use them as drones.

Bondrewd or "Lord of the Dawn"

Bondrewd, also known as the "Lord of the Dawn", is one of the legendary bearers of the White Whistle, and has made many great discoveries about the Abyss. Ten years ago, he did the unthinkable, establishing a large base called "Forward Base Dawn" in the deepest part of the 5th layer of the Abyss, and providing a path to the then-untouchable 6th layer.

Are these cartridges?

To avoid the Curse of the Abyss, Bondrewd creates Cartridges that contain children's vital organs, including the brain, stimulated by drugs. The effects of the Abyss are transferred to the Cartridges. Due to this, Bondrewd is able to avoid losing his human form due to the Curse of the 6th Layer and instead receive the Blessing of the Abyss.

"Rising to the Morning Star", auction title: Gangway

This Relic is created from an Artifact called the Stair of Light, the location of which was thought to be unknown. Its rank is unknown. It is a mysterious beam of light that emanates from a glowing strip on Bondrewd's helmet-mask. It does not seem to damage anything that the user is not focused on, so it can be reflected. (The purple, glowing, illuminating stripe on Bondrewd's helmet)

"Cursed Needles", auction title: Shaker

A relic of unknown rank that shoots large needles carved from another relic whose location was unknown - Shaker. These needles are capable of inflicting a 3rd layer Curse on those who touch them. It is mainly used against humans.

"Light Leading to the Source", auction title: Sparagmos

A processed Relic of unknown rank that generates a mysterious beam of superheated steam and plasma. Anything it touches is incinerated, with no exceptions. The device can only operate for a short period of time, as it requires a lot of energy and generates a lot of heat. (In short: It is located in large devices similar to a device attached to the arms. Namely, below the elbow. Also black!!)
