William Afton

Appearance.

William has short brown hair, beige skin tone, brown eyes and a normal build. His height is 178 centimeters. He is usually dressed in a white shirt with a black vest on top. He is wearing black trousers, purple socks and black men's shoes. A purple tie hangs around his neck, and a William A. badge is worn on his vest. He is 38 years old.

Background and Character.

William is characterized by a smile — it is with this facial expression that he most often appears in mini-games and cutscenes. This smile is not healthy and shows his madness, since he smiles, although sincerely, but unnaturally wide. It is difficult to say anything about William's character, but we can say for sure that he is very cruel and merciless: this is confirmed by his murders of children and his attitude towards his youngest son. William is not tormented by remorse because of his murders. On the contrary, he is smiling. At the same time, when communicating, he is quite cool and calm, which does not give rise to suspicion of his real identity. William is clearly proud of himself, and his pride increases with the experience of killing. He is a skilled manipulator, and quickly ingratiates himself into trust. He has an impeccable mind and strategy, because no one could guess his involvement in the murders. William's motivation is not fully known, however, it is influenced by his mental state, which cannot be called satisfactory. One of the main goals of his murders is to extract the residue - the essence of souls, which is released at high temperatures if the subject is possessed by a soul, this essence gave regeneration and Afton tried to create a formula for complete immortality from it. To do this, he killed 5 children in 1985, luring them into a secret room of a pizzeria in an old "Golden Bonnie" costume, after stuffing their bodies into classic animatronics: Freddy, Bonnie, Chick, Foxy and Golden Freddy. William began his career with Henry Emily. Henry was born with a talent for mechanics, and when he learned how to create animatronics, he built the restaurant "Fredbear's Family Diner". After that, he meets William Afton, a businessman who helps him manage and develop the restaurant. Also, before the murder of five children, William committed another, his first murder. The murder of Charlie (Henry's daughter) took place in the evening in 1983.

At the restaurant "Fredbear's Family Diner" on a rainy evening, for unknown reasons, Charlie found herself outside the building, crying and wanted to enter. A Puppet came to her aid, who, according to his program, should be next to children with green bracelets, one of which Charlie was. However, while he was leaving the building, a purple car arrived, from where William got out. He killed Charlie, dragged her body into the Alley and drove away. Upon reaching the body, the Puppet eventually broke down, and Charlie's soul entered his body. The murder of his daughter led Henry to depression, after which he firmly decided to release all the souls imprisoned in animatronics. As a result of the murder, the first possessed animatronic Puppet appeared, who later began to infuse the souls of William's other victims into animatronics so that they could take revenge.
