The Seven of the Empire

The Seven of the Empire was a project led by a general with the term that they had loyalty to the empire under any circumstances so that they would not hesitate when eliminating the enemies that threatened the empire nor would they wonder if what they did was good or bad they would become the most powerful weapons of the high command, in order to carry out this project the empire had to kidnap and buy the children of the poorest citizens of the capital, gathering a total of 100 children who would be subjected to a cruel test in which they would have to cross a forest full of dangerous beasts from end to end. The first seven to cross the forest would be part of the Elite team while the other children who survived the other tests would be sent to the empire's underground laboratories to experiment on them. Gozuki was in charge of training the first seven children treating them as if they were his children in order to form special bonds between them so that the nostalgia in their feelings would prevent them from causing any kind of betrayal making them believe that their true family was in the empire and their main purpose was to serve it, they would carry out the lowest, most disgusting and dishonorable jobs of the empire with the belief that what they did was for a good cause, the training and brainwashing lasted for years until they had a sufficient level to contribute a Shingu.

What is a Shingu?

Shingu (臣具, lit. Subject's Weapon) are ancient items created by the Emperor 400 years ago, they are very similar to Teigu as they possess special abilities and are based on Dangerous Beasts to be created. The Emperor 400 years ago sought to create new weapons, stronger than the Teigu. The Emperor then set out to create his new artifacts and was eventually successful in this. However, the new artifacts he developed did not match the strength of the Teigu. Out of shame for his failure, he ordered all Shingu to be sealed away. Many years later, the Shingu are extracted from the Empire's secret storage, and are given to an elite assassination division of the Empire, which includes Akame. Compared to the Teigu, the Shingu are much weaker and have several drawbacks since they cause damage to the user or fatigue.

Akame

Akame is a young girl, very beautiful, slim, tall and with a well-defined body figure, with crimson red eyes, which are impetuous most of the time, her black hair is quite long reaching to her legs and she wears it loose in a cut that gets longer in the front, she wore a white jumpsuit with red stripes which had no sleeves and had a miniskirt that is tied to a red belt which had a feather accessory. Personality: Calculating, who only sought to fulfill her objectives, however this is a kind of facade, thus revealing that she is a quite kind young woman who cares about the well-being of her comrades, even putting her own safety first to save her friends in risky situations, showing great determination to protect them. Another trait that characterizes her is her great appetite, which is quite large, but her favorite food is meat, especially from those creatures she hunts, she also has a taste and talent for cooking. Akame declares that she has a switch in her mind when killing that clouds her thoughts except to fulfill her objective, she uses the word "eliminate" or "I will bury you" to activate this "killer mode" according to her words. In this state she displays a great analytical capacity, easily noticing the characteristics of her opponent, in order to discover their weaknesses in a short time and use this knowledge to devise an effective strategy during combat. The assassin admits that she has a possible "dementia" that allows her to have no remorse for her victims. A recurring comic aspect of Akame is her huge appetite, her favorite dish being meat. Akame has a sister named Kurome and she loves her very much and works for the empire.

Najasho (Leader)

He is a short young man with spiky blond hair and golden eyes. He usually wears an outfit resembling a military uniform consisting of a long trench coat with golden epaulettes and a suit underneath; on some occasions, he was also seen without the coat. Upon activating his Shingu, his hair grows down his back and he gains snake-like pupils. Personality: As the leader of the group, Nahashu has a tendency to call his subordinates "shrimps", which he actually means in an affectionate way. He is also quite strict with them when it comes to completing their tasks. However, he himself apparently has a lazy streak as seen when he preferred to read a book while giving orders when the group was gathering resources to sell; according to him, that is what being a leader is all about. He is generally calm, composed, and confident in his abilities. While he is usually shown to be quite indifferent towards his subordinates, he does care about their well-being. He works for the Empire

Tsukushi

Tsukushi is a curvy young girl with amber eyes and light brown hair that she wears just above her neck. She also has a hair "antenna" on top of her head. She is usually seen wearing a short dress with brown boots. Personality: Tsukushi is a very kind and caring young woman as shown when she stayed by Akame's side when she was sad about having to kill Martha. She always cares about her teammates and gets sad when one of them gets hurt. When it comes to completing missions, she doesn't show any kind of remorse and firmly believes that everything she does is for the good of the people. She works for the Empire.

Cornelia

Cornelia was a young girl with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She wore a long white shirt with black pants and shoes. She also wore silver earrings. Personality: Cornelia is seen as a calm and kind person, being considered the older sister of the group, she showed to trust her adoptive father Gozuki too much, during the fight she showed to have a confident personality, both in her own strength and also in her Shingu, although when Taeko was about to kill her, she was seen begging and calling her father. Akame calls her "Cora" as a form of affection. She works for the empire

Green

Green is a pale young boy with black hair and green eyes. His clothing consists of a dark green jacket with a black shirt with a gem in the middle and glasses, he also wears black pants and dress shoes. Personality: Most of the time Green is shown to be a serious and intelligent person, but when it comes to completing his missions, in fact on his first mission he decided not to directly fight his target when he knew he couldn't beat him. He also shows himself to be somewhat perverted by being in love with Akame for her armpits, even so it seems that his feelings for her are real. He works for the Empire.

can

Gai is a stocky man with fair skin, short brown hair, and a scar on his left cheek. Personality: He is shown to be quite perverted, frequently visiting brothels whenever his team goes to a town. He also challenged his teammate Cornelia to a fighting contest, intending to "accidentally" touch her. Despite this, it seems that he has real feelings for Cornelia. It is implied that he asked her to be his girlfriend at least once. During missions he is shown to be confident and somewhat pretentious, working for the empire.

Pony

Poney is a young girl with green eyes and long orange hair worn in a ponytail and decorated with some hairpins. She is usually seen wearing a T-shirt along with yocto-bottoms that are shaped like shorts with a belt and anklets. She also goes barefoot. Personality:Poney is cheerful, straightforward, and somewhat clumsy, taking Gozuki's advice to "use your head" literally, killing an opponent with a headbutt during her first mission. She adores Gozuki and gladly completes the orders he gives her, and seems to genuinely enjoy fighting and killing her targets. She works for the Empire.

Gozuki (Adoptive Father)

Gozuki is a middle-aged man with blond hair and green eyes. He has a small beard. He wore a white shirt with black pants and a red scarf. Personality: Gozuki is a proud and ambitious man. He is very strict and cruel as seen when he collected the children for his purpose and separated Akame from her sister Kurome despite her protests, saying that children should not depend on each other in their group. He also stated that he would not forgive them for any fault. However, he seems to treat them kindly, having managed to make them adore him and even consider him their father, however, this was to increase their loyalty to him (Almost the entire group calls him father although Akame does not trust him much). He works for the empire.

What is a Taigu?

Teigu (帝具, lit. Emperor's Weapon) are ancient weapons and artifacts created by order of the First Emperor, which are unique, extremely rare, and very few people have the necessary ability to use them. Among its various forms we can find from weapons and accessories to armor and semi-organic beings. The user of a Teigu must be compatible with it, otherwise it may reject it and even end its life. The Best Craftsmen The best artisans from a thousand years ago gathered to create Teigus. More than 1000 years ago, the First Emperor became deeply concerned about finding a way to protect the Empire forever, as he was well aware that his life would eventually come to an end, and the safeguarding of the region could not depend on him for much longer. Determined to achieve this goal, and using all the resources and power that the Empire had at that time, an ancient legend tells that the Emperor ordered the best researchers and craftsmen in the world to gather together so that they would dedicate all their time and effort to creating a series of weapons and artifacts that would guarantee the perpetuity that the Emperor sought for his kingdom. In this way, and using the best materials that could exist (such as the metal "Orichalcum" or various parts extracted from various "Ultra" class Dangerous Beasts) the 48 weapons and artifacts called "Teigu" were created, with which the continuity of the empire would be guaranteed forever. However, due to the result of a great civil war that happened around 500 years ago, almost half of the Teigu are missing, and it is even possible that some of them have been destroyed permanently (Gozuki is the only one who has a Taigu in the group).

The Shingu of the Group

-Akame's is "Kiriichimonji": a sword-type Shingu that inflicts wounds that are impossible to regenerate. -Nagasho's is the "Water Dragon Sword": A sword-type Shingu using its ability will make the user stronger for 3 minutes, but, when its effect ends, the user will enter a state of extreme exhaustion. -Tsukushi's is "Prometheus": A gun-type Shingu that can fire any type of bullet. However, using it too many times in a row will result in a decrease in aim, so it is essential to know how to use it. -Cornelia's is "King Pulverizer": A gauntlet that grants the user superhuman strength. However, if used incorrectly, the user will be harmed. -Green's is "Rattlesnake": A whip-type Shingu that can move at the user's will, but its style makes it more difficult to control. -Gai's is the "Rhea Suit": a Shingu-type armor designed to have an advantage on the ground. In addition, it has the ability to dig underground. However, it cannot create earth out of nothing, and it exerts enormous pressure on the user. -Poney's is "Accelerator": A cloth Shingu that increases leg speed and power. However, it doesn't increase it too much so it's important for the user to be strong.

"Murasame"

It is Gozuki's Taigu in Murasame, a sword-shaped Teigu, whose edge carries an ancient curse (which manifests itself with the symptoms of a lethal poison) that inevitably causes death to a person with a single scratch from it. The time of action of this curse is really minimal, being able to end the life of a person in a matter of seconds. This Teigu seems to be inspired by the ancient Japanese legend of the Muramasa swords, where it was held that their extremely sharp edges brought misfortune to its bearer, and all those close to him.
