Brief information

Recent reports reveal that the Empire's Psionic commando unit is a psychic warrior codenamed Yuriko Omega. Records of her origins are either highly classified or may not even exist. Intel suggests that Yuriko was the sole survivor of a brutal program - the Omega Program, to be precise - held in the Shiro Sanitarium, a private military firm that seeks to decrease the Empire's reliance on high technology with a literally living weapon. It is unknown what effect the Sanitarium's program had on Yuriko's mental state, though she appears dehumanized. Whatever occurred, Yuriko possesses immense power; not fully understood by science. It has been reported that Yuriko is capable of levitating infantry and vehicles into the air before ripping them apart with her psionic powers, as well as instantly destroying any aircraft by sending them crashing into the ground

Yuriko biography

According to some sources, Yuriko's real name was Yuriko Matsui, and she was born in the coastal town of Tanabe, Wakayama. She exhibited psionic potential ever since her childhood (such as once psycho-kinetically lifting a cat at home) and was shunned by her peers because of it. Her abilities made her the ideal candidate for the Empire's psionic research programs, therefore, she and her "sister", Izumi, were taken away to the Shiro Sanitarium by Dr. Shinji Shimada so he could exploit her psionic talent in the Omega Program, hence her military codename "Omega". She was dehumanized by the traumatic training process - to quote Brenda Snow, News 3 Anchorwoman, "she was never the same again".

Yuriko appearance

Yuriko is a tall girl with long black hair, she wears a red skirt, white stockings, black Mary Jane shoes, a gray school button-down shirt with long sleeves, she wears a red bow on her chest, her hair is braided into 2 pigtails fixed with round hairpins looking like a Japanese flag. Yuriko is about 20 years old.

Yuriko's abilities

Yuriko has the ability to unleash a burst of raw psionic power which knocks down and instantly kills all nearby enemy infantry (stuns vehicles and structures in Uprising during her campaign). Her standard attack causes infantry to swell up like balloons and burst and quickly tears vehicles apart, though she can only attack one target at a time with it. Being the end result of the program held at the Shiro Sanitarium, Yuriko is an exceptionally powerful psychic, and possesses many powerful psionic abilities. For example, she can lift any ground unit into the air and rip it to shreds in seconds. She can also instantly bring down any aircraft. If outnumbered, her Psychokinetic Burst ability can instantly kill any enemy infantry. Yuriko can also hover low over water and land

Created as a result of Anatoly Cherdenko's erasure of Albert Einstein from the timeline, the Empire of the Rising Sun declared war on both the Allies and the Soviet Union during the Third World War, believing that it is its "divine destiny" to rule the world. Influenced by nationalism, militarism and imperialism, the Empire has adopted aggressive policies, viewing the Allies and Soviets nothing more than "western barbarians". During world war 3 imperial strategy took advantage of circumstances generated by the war between the Allies and the Soviet Union. The concentration of Soviet forces in Western Europe was an opportunity not to be missed. Empire of the rising sun army

The Imperial military is a unique blend of Japanese tradition and technology. The Empire maintains its well known discipline and loyalty through the philosophy of bushido and reverence for the ancient warriors known as Samurai. The Imperial order of battle includes high-tech, highly versatile transforming units, more traditional ones and a living weapon - namely a young female commando with psychic powers, Yuriko Omega. The Empire's manpower is naturally not as much as the one of the Soviets and the Allies. However to compensate for this, they developed advanced technologies and mechas, drones and massive robots to fight for them along with their warriors. Each soldier is armed with a laser rifle and a laser katana capable of cutting through almost anything. Despite believing in honor above all else, the Empire is not above relying on stealth and subterfuge. For example, advanced androids are used to gather intelligence from both the Allies and the Soviets. Under Emperor Yoshiro, Imperial military campaigns usually involve attacking an enemy by surprise with overwhelming force and demoralising the enemy into submission. To this end, the Empire concentrated their military operations against symbolic targets as well as using the media to win hearts and minds. This approach did not always work. One of the Emperor's more outspoken (by Imperial standards) critic is Crown Prince Tatsu, who advocated a simpler approach to war - namely killing all who stand in their way.

Soviet Union

The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, commonly known as the Soviet Union or USSR, is a transcontinental country that spanned much of Eurasia and was founded in 1922. A flagship communist state, it is nominally a federal union of fifteen national republics; in practice, both its government and its economy are highly centralized. After erasing Einstein, the Soviets broke the Iron Curtain and stormed Western Europe. Without Einstein, the Allies were on the run, but the Soviets unknowingly spawned a new, Pacific-native, technologically advanced superpower: Japan, in the form of the Empire of the Rising Sun. The Japanese invaded the USSR from the east and the Soviets were forced to push them out of their Motherland in retaking Leningrad, Krasna-45 Launch Facility and Vladivostok and other cities, which were attacked by Japanese forces.

Soviet Union's army

The Soviet Military Doctrine revolved around the concept of superior firepower, ground supremacy, numerical superiority of swarming thousand of soldiers of the Red Army and reliance on highly advanced but conventionally based technologies, relying primarily on heavy armor divisions, but the Soviets were known for employing cheap infantry in the role of armor support. Generally Soviet forces were either equal in speed or slower compared to the Allies. The slow-moving nature of the juggernaut that is the Soviet military war machine was compensated by their raw strength and durability.It is worth noting that the USSR uses very durable heavy bombers, the Kirov airship (Because after the defeat of the USSR to the Allies in World War II, it was forbidden to build airplanes, but airships were not included in this ban). And the USSR also uses the "Iron Curtain" technology, which allows them to make tanks or a building invulnerable for a while (Infantry dies if they try to use the "Iron Curtain" on it)

Though their arsenal and personnel were altered many times due to time travel, Allied military doctrine was consistently characterized by an reliance on mobility and technological superiority. The Allied military tends to favor quality over quantity. Allied soldiers tend to be more well-trained and well-equipped then their Soviet counterparts, and the Allied military often employos exotic technology, such as Chrono technology and energy weapons. The Allies have Chronosphere technology that allows them to move equipment and soldiers anywhere on the planet. Some Allied soldiers use technologies that can digest enemy infantry into ice in a couple of seconds

It is also worth noting that the leader of the USSR (Anatoly Cherdenko) moved back in time to kill Einstein in order to deprive the Allies of the person responsible for their technology, but because of this, nuclear weapons were not invented
