Rody is a young man with reddish brown hair tied in a pointed ponytail, gray eyes and tanned skin. He wears a red bandana along with a pair of sunglasses on his head, as well as a pale blue button-up shirt with several patches on it and a tan beige jacket with an orange flower sticking out of the left breast pocket. He wears a pair of thick grey gloves and a blue and red striped tie. He also wears a pair of black pants that reach just above his ankles with patches on the knees, as well as a pair of dark brown shoes with grey cloth wrapped around each of them. While on the run with Izuku Midoriya, Rody changes his outfit into a white, short-sleeved hoodie with a red stripe running down the middle, knee-length jeans, black socks and shoes with dark red laces, as well as white toe caps and bottoms. During a trip to Japan, his younger siblings, Roro and Lala, gave him a pair of aviator glasses to replace his sunglasses. [2] [3]

Rody is a very carefree person who is always looking for a job opportunity to help his younger brother and sister. When he interacts with clients or certain people in the context of his work, he tries to speak softly or exaggerate to avoid serious situations. Due to his father abandoning him and his siblings at a young age, having been shunned by the community for his father's involvement in Humarise, Rody is a caring older brother who always places his siblings as his first priority. His siblings are so important to him that he will do anything to ensure their safety and well-being; even if it means considering the demands of an enemy. Although Rody does not hate heroes, he does not hold them in high regard as there are not many heroes in the Otheon Slum since hero agencies are unable to make much of a profit from working in the slums. With the lack of heroes, the rise in crime, and his past, Rody has developed a "life is unfair" viewpoint where he expects people to treat others unfairly and resort to foul play to get what they want. Because of this, he is willing to resort to theft and illicit acts if it means surviving and providing for his siblings.

Personality

Despite this, Rody has a sense of chivalry and trust towards people he gets along with. Though initially wary and distrustful of Izuku, even coming close to betraying him, he eventually comes to trust the young hero-in-training after they share their past stories and bond with each other while on the run. Furthermore, despite initially wanting nothing to do with the conflict with Humarise, he gains the resolve to help the Heroes defeat the cult after learning that they were responsible for his father's disappearance and death, even standing up to their leader Flect Turn and risking his own life to help save the world. Rody tries to keep his sensitive emotions to himself, but his Quirk makes it easy for people to notice what he's really feeling. Because of this, Rody is embarrassed by the function of his Quirk and is reluctant to talk about it, as he doesn't see it as very impressive. Rody dreams of being a pilot one day and is committed to pursuing that dream. [4]

Parkour: Rody is a skilled acrobat and is resourceful with his surroundings, which together allows him to move through crowded environments with great speed. These skills allowed him to evade Izuku through the streets of Otheon, even with the latter's enhanced speed and agility. Charisma: Rody is a skilled liar and negotiator, able to get himself out of most situations. Despite being prevented from lying by Pino, Rody is very clever when it comes to getting himself out of trouble. Realizing that Izuku was not a hero of Otheon when the latter was interrogating him, he used the facts against him, warning him that he had no authority in Otheon while also threatening to report him to the police for harassment. Much later, he was even able to trick Flect Turn into letting his guard down. Driving Skills: Rody knows how to operate and drive vehicles, such as a truck, without much difficulty. Aviation Skills: In addition to ground vehicles, Rody also knows how to operate, fly, and land a small plane.

Don

Soul (魂ソウル, Sōru ? ): Rody's Quirk manifests as a small bird-like animal named Pino. Pino is linked to Rody's soul and her actions reflect his inner feelings, even if he tries to hide it, effectively preventing him from lying. Although she isn't very powerful, Pino is quite useful at times. Rody can give her instructions to act and she can come to his aid by distracting enemies. She can also perform certain actions for Rody when he is unable to do so.
