History and when Ryoga was added to the story

Ryoga is introduced in chapter 10 of the manga, titled "The Hunter", and episode 7 of the anime, "Ryoga, the Forever Lost Boy Appears", in which he casually stopped a giant boar from attacking a rural village. He politely asked for the location of Furinkan High School, but it turned out that it was 500 miles (800 km) too far south, and he had to go the 500 miles (800 km) north. A week later, he finally arrived at his destination and attacked Ranma Sotome. Ranma had trouble recognizing him, but was glad to see him when he remembered Ryoga as an old friend from his former boys' school (Junior High School in the anime, High School in the manga). At first, it seemed that Ryoga held a grudge against him because Ranma "ran away" from the meeting point of a duel they had agreed upon, a vacant lot that was located 500 yards (460 m) from his house. His poor sense of direction forced him to wander all over Japan for four days in search of his destination, but Ranma only waited for him three days before leaving for China to train with his father. Ranma thought that Ryoga's motivation stemmed from him always beating Ryoga when they competed for the last bun of lunch, slowly forming a grudge against him.

Ryoga experience:

Ryoga's usual outfit consists of a yellow and black mottled bandana around his head, a long-sleeved yellow tunic with a light yellow collar and folded sleeves, black pants with yellow bands around the legs, a black belt, and pale yellow socks. He is sometimes shown wearing a pale yellow sleeveless shirt and dark blue pants. His hair, usually in the front, is quite long, hiding his bandana behind it. Most often, Ryoga carries a black backpack and a red bamboo umbrella either tucked into straps on top of his backpack or in his hand. Ryoga physically looks very similar to Ranma except for the color of his eyes, since Ryoga has brown eyes, his thick black hair, his fangs on his teeth and his clothes of a different shape and color, his skin is somewhat tanned but light.

Ryoga in his Pe-chan transformation:

Ryoga is cursed for falling into a lake where a little piglet with tusks drowned, then when Ryoga touches the cold water he transforms into Pe-chan. In his P-chan form, when splashed with cold water, Ryoga's clothes fall to the ground and he appears as a small black pig with big brown eyes, wearing the yellow, mottled scarf around his neck as a collar.

when Pe-chan becomes human Ryoga:

When hot water is poured over the body of the little black pig Pe-chan, he turns back into a human, transforming into Ryoga again, however, when he turns back into a human, he is completely naked.

Ryoga's personality:

He is someone rude, too strong, but he falls in love with any pretty woman he sees, he is very outgoing, shy and romantic, but he gets easily annoyed when it comes to Ranma. Ryoga is a very absent-minded and forgetful person.
