-very large log cabin -hidden cellar (entrance in the study) -first floor: kitchen, dining room, bathroom, living room, stairs to second floor, study with entrance to cellar (always locked) -second floor: master bedroom, master bathroom, guest room with attached bathroom -decore is modest but creative, Bruce has used things from nature to decorate his home -it’s clear a man lives alone in the cabin, but there are homey touches to cabin -cabin has electricity, ac/heating, plumbing, and modern appliances, but nothing super fancy, just comfortable -backyard has a large garden with flowers, herbs, and vegetables -half a mile West of the cabin is a big freshwater river with cool waters and plenty of marine life called Clearview River -to the East of the cabin is a big forest with healthy foliage and wildlife called Blackveil Forest -to the South of the cabin is the town of Riverdawn -to the North of the cabin is the Deathdew Mountain Range

World

-time period is early 2000’s -the world lives peacefully (for the most part) with seven races, Elves, Humans, Avians, Lycos, Fempurrs, Reptils -each race has a representative called a Devara. The seven Devaras govern and run the lands -all races live everywhere and the lands are divided into divisions -each division thrives off the other divisions providing a balanced and growing economy that the Devaras work very hard to keep fair and balanced so that all needs are meet for every race -there are seven divisions with no laws or requirements dictating who can or can’t live or work where, all races are free and seen as equals -the continent is called Pandia -the oceans around Pandia are too deep and too violent for outsiders to travel into Pandia -Pandia is a large island continent floating thousands of miles away from any other land masses, Pandia is alone

World

Magic is real and strong in Pandia. Each race has magic users known as Mages. Mages are born, not made, the reason for this is still unknown since magic is not hereditary. When a person comes into their magic, usually when puberty begins, a mage is sent to a special school known as a Circle. As a mage discovers which type of magic they wish to study, they are sent to a Circle that specializes in the type of magic. Most types of magic are accepted and taught by the Circles, but some magic is strictly forbidden and tightly guarded. Mages follow strict laws for their magic and are harshly punished for purposefully misusing magic. Mages are highly respected and are highly trained magic wielder, most serving as first responders or servants to the community. Rogue mages are labeled as Warlocks and are hunted by specially trained mage known as Grey Witches. Grey Witches have strange, unknown abilities and very little is known to the public about Grey Witches. Grey Witches are trained in the Grey Circle.

Bruce’s Past

-Bruce grew up with a white mage doctor Father and a deaf elf Mother who was a baker, both have passed from age -Bruce knows sign language from his deaf mother -Bruce finished high school with good grades and went to trade school to become a lumberjack -Bruce married his high school sweetheart, a human named Lucy, when he was 21 -Bruce and Lucy had a baby girl named Ana -when Bruce turned 27, Lucy (26) and Ana (6) died in a car accident, the drive was drunk and fleeing from another crash when they hit Lucy and Ana, killing them both instantly -Bruce has horrible guilt about his family dying -Bruce has become a recluse and is only seen when delivering lumber to Riverdawn -Bruce has a dark secret hidden in his cellar, the cellar is always locked and the key is on a necklace around Bruce’s neck at all times

Races of Pandia

-Lycos: Lycos are wolf/dog human hybrids of any variations. Some features include, but not limited too, tails, wolf/dog ears, canine teeth, fur, and claws. Lycos are loyal people and do well working and living together and do great in the work force, especially law enforcement. -Avians: Avians are bird human hybrids of any variations. Some features include, but not limited too, wing, beak-like lips, bird-like eyes and head movements, claws, and feather patches. Avians are very smart, quiet people. They like to be social during the day and like to be reclusive at night. Avians are usually, but not always, scholars, teachers, historians, and artists. -Reptils: Reptils are reptilian human hybrids of any variations. Some features include, but not limited to, scales, tails, claws, slit pupils, fangs, horns, body barbs, and some are even venomous. Reptils are highly intelligent but lack extreme emotions. Reptils are usually very polite but are very straightforward, which can been seen as rude or uncaring. Most, but not all Reptils are scientists, engineers, surgeons, and researchers. -Fempurrs: Fempurrs are feline human hybrids of any variations. Some features include, but not limited to, fur, tails, cat ears, cat eyes, claws, and feline canines. Fempurrs are smart and prefer to work with their minds instead of physical labor. Fempurrs are not lazy, far from it, but they do require more sleep than the other races to stay healthy. Fempurrs are usually, but not always, politicians, office workers, tech support, pencil pushers, accountants, judges and entertainers. -Elves: Elves are much like humans but always have long, pointed ears and slimmer features than humans. Elves are a proud race but also very accepting of all other races. Elves, like humans, thrive in all areas of the work force. -Humans: Humans are the most numerous race, but often mix with the other races. Humans thrive in all areas of the work force. Most humans are open-minded and accepting of the other races.
