Killer (キラー, Kirā?),[8] known as Loyal Soldier (殺戮武人, Satsuriku Bujin?), is a pirate from the South Blue who acts as a fighter for the Kid Pirates. Being one of the eleven Supernovas[2] who landed on Sabaody two years ago, he is part of what is known as "the worst generation" of pirates in history.

In Wano Country, Killer worked for a time for Kurozumi Orochi as a street assassin under the pseudonym Kamazo the Scrapper (人斬り鎌ぞう, Hitokiri Kamazō?) after consuming a defective SMILE.

Appearance

Killer is a tall, burly man. He is characterized by wearing a mask. He also wears cowboy-style pants, a black shirt with white polka dots, and a red sash. His face has not yet been seen, so his facial features are unknown, but it can be seen that he has long, blonde hair. After the time skip, he is much more muscular, has a goatee, and has longer hair. His attire also changes, being jeans and a blue tank top with what appears to be his own Jolly Roger. The colored lines and design of his mask also change. Like Kamazo, Killer has his face devoid of his iconic mask, showing bandages covering his entire face, as well as long, wavy hair tied into a long ponytail. He wears a dark kimono with sickle-shaped patterns placed on it irregularly, as well as an obi around his waist and a cape with target patterns on it.

Personality

Like the rest of the crew, Killer is a bit of an arrogant and brawler; in some cases even more so than his captain. Of course, this has nothing to do with his calm temperament. During combat he is rather silent, the only thing you can hear is the whirling of his sickles, and he tends to focus on eliminating the enemy. Killer is much more knowledgeable than his captain on some historical facts as he demonstrated when he informed Kid of what the Ox Bell meant. After the time skip, Killer has been shown to be much more diplomatic than his captain, advising him to be polite to his fellow Worst Generation members, and then managing to calm down a brawl between him and Scratchmen Apoo by reminding them of what they had been summoned for. He also appears to be much more reasonable than his captain, which conflicts with his name, as he tried to talk things out instead of picking a fight. After consuming a defective SMILE, Killer can no longer express any emotion other than happiness, by laughing. Like Kamazo, he is a violent and bloodthirsty man who enjoys killing. If he encounters someone he hasn't been ordered to kill, he will give them a chance to get out of his way, but will kill anyone who stands between him and his target without a problem. He is very confident in his abilities, to the point of being arrogant, as he constantly mocks his opponents and is certain that they will lose to him. Like other characters in the series, Killer has a signature laugh: "Fafafa". Killer appears to have a complex about his laugh to the point of hitting anyone who laughs at it, as stated by Kid.

Relations

Killer and Kid are childhood friends, as well as the founders of their pirate gang.[12][6] Killer always tries to keep his captain calm, being the critical and reasoned voice in dangerous situations while Kid shows his rage and hyperactivity. Despite what the Beasts Pirates did to him, Killer remains loyal to them.[13] Killer's loyalty to Kid is such that, seeing that Basil Hawkins had obtained a strawman from him, he implored him to spare his captain, offering even his life in exchange.

Skills and powers

Killer is a fearsome pirate and combatant. His skills have earned him a bounty of 200,000,000 Belly, which is very impressive for a rookie, even within the Grand Line. Like his captain, he was able to resist Rayleigh's Silvers Haki. Killer is a highly skilled fighter, having clashed with a fellow Worst Generation member, Roronoa Zoro, who recognized his skill, and managed to injure him with the unwitting help of the monk Gyukimaru. Killer's fighting style seems to rely primarily on speed and agility which he uses to overpower his opponent before they can attack, or to dodge attacks. He was able to fight his fellow Supernova Urouge, although the latter had not increased his muscle mass.

Devil Fruit and Haki

Main article: SMILE Killer consumed a SMILE, which turned out to be defective. Because of this, the only thing the fruit has done is take away his ability to swim and express emotions other than laughter. Main article: Haki Killer can use both Kenbunshoku Haki and Busoshoku Haki, but his level of usage in both cases is unknown.

Weapons

Main article: Punishers Killer carries two scythes on his fists which he calls Punishers,[16] which he can spin via a mechanism on both wrists, allowing them to be used as sickles. These weapons can also be used to block other weapons, leaving the enemy open for Killer to kick into the enemy's flank or other exposed areas. This, combined with the agility he has thus far shown in combat and the notion that he is not afraid to kill, makes him a formidable foe.[17] Like Kamazo, Killer wields two massive scythes that are not attached to his body.[18] However, one of them was stolen by Gyukimaru after his fight with Zoro.

history/past

Killer was born in the South Blue.[6] While young, he developed a crush on the same girl as Kid. One day the three of them were eating curry udon, both laughing when she spilled the food on her clothes. The girl beat them both up and never saw them again, while the two boys became friends afterward. At some point, Killer developed a complex about his laughter, beating up anyone who laughed at him. He eventually stopped laughing, and hid his face under his trademark mask. Wano Country Arc After Kaidou's appearance on the scene, the entire gang was separated, and Kurozumi Orochi offered Killer a chance to save his captain by giving him a SMILE, making him a pleasure. [25] He then began working under the name "Kamazo the Ripper". [1] Kamazo is mentioned in the Flower Capital newspaper's news reports. He is referred to as Kamazo the Ripper, an assassin who roams the streets with a large scythe to attack and kill his victims. After the chaos at the palace, Kamazo was hired by Orochi to kill the kamuro Toko. While chasing Toko and another woman to the Ringo region, he came across a confrontation between Roronoa Zoro and Gyukimaru. Zoro then confronted Kamazo to protect Toko and the woman. When Zoro was distracted by Gyukimaru, Kamazo slashed him in the shoulder. However, the swordsman was able to grab one of his scythes, attacking him with his santoryu: rengoku oni giri.[11] This attack was enough to knock him down and defeat him.

When Kamazo arrives at his boss's base with Kid, he tells his boss that Kid is his servant to prevent him from being harmed, causing Orochi to accept Kid as Kamazo's official servant. Kid must do everything Kamazo asks him to do, and he does it without resistance because he knows he is a killer. Kamazo will betray Orochi at some point because he messed with his captain Eustass Kid
