Mu Dan is a major antagonist of the manga and anime series Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku. He is a member of Lord Tensen and the Peony Spirit, under the alias of Enthroned Amoghavajra as a partial ruler of Kotaku alongside the other Tensen.

Aspect

Mu Dan makes his first appearance during the meeting alongside his companions with a bouquet of red flowers covering his upper head. During his confrontation with Yamada Sagiri, Yamada Senta, Yuzuriha, and Hōko, his full face was revealed to be that of a middle-aged man and he showed a sadistic smile. His hair is a pinkish red petal-shaped hair that reaches to his chin and he had golden colored irises. He wore an ancient traditional Chinese attire consisting of a beaded necklace, a crimson colored hanfu with a large yin-yang symbol on it with some additional features around it, and a dark green cloth underneath.

personality

Mu Dan displays a calm and welcoming demeanor as he greets the Sagiri and the others and while decapitating Hōko. Along with his carefree nature, he speaks calmly. Much like his fellow Tensens, he enjoys treating humans as nothing more than sources of Tan and feels relaxed while fighting them, believing himself to be nearly invincible due to his immense regenerative abilities that easily recover his wound. He stated that lower quality humans are becoming his "toys" that he can use them as his own and treat them as servants to capture other humans in which he names his minions "Kiyōshis". He displays some levels of pleasure in toying with his victims, such as after witnessing Yuzuriha's shinobi skills, and only shows interest in her, telling her that he will teach her how to use Tao and declares to turn her into a Tan if she is not talented enough.
