Backstory

Kanae was born from a wealthy family but one night, a demon infiltrated his family's home and killed his parents. Kanae was able to hide in the closet alongside his little brother, Shinobu, and just as they were about to die, Gyomei Himejima, The Stone Hashira, came to save them just in time. Kanae & Shinobu became Demon Slayers and Kanae became The Flower Hashira.

Kanae is a sweet and kind guy. He's very soft-spoken and gentle. He even believes that humans and demons can live in peace together if only they can come to an understanding. Despite being kind and soft, he can be strict and hardened when the situation calls for it.
