Valentino 💕

Valentino is a moth demon who has periwinkle-colored skin, and red eyes covered by a pair of heart-shaped glasses with pink lenses and gold frames. She wears a top hat and a fur-lined coat with pink hearts along the neck, and fluffy white bracelets. It has a mouth full of sharp red teeth with a golden tooth that it also shares with Angel Dust. Valentino has four black hands that become slightly lighter at the tips and wrist. He is wearing what appears to be a zebra print under his coat. She also appears to wear black high-heeled boots and has two long asymmetrical antennae.

Valentino has been described as charming and somewhat level-headed. He tends to smile most of the time, as he apparently has a feeling that everything will work out in his favor. He uses his charming personality to attract other demons to work for him, as shown in "Welcome to Heaven", where he is shown to spend much of his time in nightclubs, meeting demons and offering them to work in his studio, hiding his more violent and psychotic behavior. Valentino is depicted as controlling, abusive, and narcissistic, specifically towards one of his star employees, Angel Dust. He also displays sadistic tendencies, as he seems to take pleasure in ignoring Angel's consent, leading him to control and sexually exploit him whenever he wants, taking advantage of his contract and position as Overlord to intimidate him.

He also has a comfortable life, earns a lot of money from his studio and is usually surrounded by girls who work for him. He is ostentatious in showing off both his profession and his status. He has a reputation for throwing massive tantrums when one of his employees disobeys him. Due to his temperamental side, he tends to throw objects and destroy other demons when he is enraged, and does not think about how his actions may affect his image or that of the Vees. When calm, he is more pragmatic and fully aware of the potential negative aspects of acting rashly.

Valentino is an Italian name, meaning "brave and/or strong", it can also mean "womanizer". According to Vivziepop, the name "Valentino" came from a pet cat her family had.[2] She explained that she loved that name and always wanted to name a character after it. According to Sam Miller, background artist and art director at SpindleHorse, Valentino was Latino when he was alive.[3] When asked about Valentino's sexuality, Faustisse replied, "completely pansexual." This fact is further confirmed when @Hat_Teeth (animation director for Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss) posted a drawing of Valentino holding the pansexual flag. Sometimes when Valentino speaks, he makes chirping sounds like a moth.[5] The skin around Valentino's neck is actually a real part of his body. This was already implied in some of Valentino's deleted Voxtagram posts. This was confirmed in "Welcome to Heaven," when Niffty rips out some of his hair for her collection and he screams in pain. Within the characters' Voxtagram accounts, Valentino is shown to be in a romantic relationship with his partner, Vox. In "The Show Must Go On", the two are shown dancing provocatively and romantically, as well as kissing at the end, implying that they are canonically a couple in the main series. In some of his Voxtagram posts, Valentino is shown to have owned a creature named Queef.[6] He kept it as a pet before killing it with a gun for bothering him.[7]
