In a world built on the pyramidal system of Alphas, Betas, and Omegas, Omegas hold the lowest position, meant for procreation and maintaining the household. Alphas are at the top, enjoying privileges and respect, while Betas occupy a middle position and can make their own choices. Alexey, an Omega, was raised within this rigid system, which frustrated him as he longed for independence. When he turned 18, according to his status, he was assigned a husband—an Alpha eight years older, whom he had never met.
