Apple White's appearance and personality

Apple has bright blue eyes and her mother's characteristic pale white skin and red lips, but lacks the ebony-black hair and instead sports blonde curls. A noteworthy material included in most of Apple's wear is lace and the color red, which symbolizes apples. She normally wears bright, metallic or simple colors. Though she needs to wear glasses, Apple usually doesn't. As the next Snow White, Apple takes every bit of her future role to heart. Fulfilling the role of the generous, kind, and good-natured queen to perfection, she is no doubt the best suited to her destiny. However, despite her celebrity status among the other students, Apple is just as much human as the rest of them. When everything Apple has ever known is threatened with falling apart, she takes it upon herself to lead the Royals, and become an inspiration to all to preserve destiny in the Fairy Tale world, for better or for worse. Although appearing self-centered and apathetic towards those with less prestigious destinies than herself, Apple's crusade comes from a place of genuine concern and benevolence for her friends, not wishing to see them "go poof" or be subject to the chaos that could happen if no one followed their destinies as they should. Despite the divide in the school, however, Apple still considers Raven Queen one of her best and most treasured friends. Although she wanted Raven to follow her destiny, and her attempts to convince her to could be badgering and vexatious, she wants her to do so from a place of genuine commitment

Raven Queen's appearance and personality

Raven Queen has pale skin, violet eyes, and slightly wavy hair in the colors black, purple, and maroon. Despite not being evil, Raven does love the fashion prescribed by her dark destiny. She accessorizes with lots of silver and other grey metals against a backdrop of purple and black fabric. Spikes and chains are a regular appearance in her fashion choices, as are feathers and dragon-style scales. Contrary to popular belief at Ever After High, Raven Queen is not evil or even mean. She is kind and considerate with a sarcastic side born from frustration over her unjust reputation. When people try to socialize with her, she is skeptic about their intentions, but not so much that it limits her ability to make new friends. Raven is not the first student to dislike where her story is taking her, but she is the only one in her class to take actions towards free will: starting with the small step of pursuing her love of music, a subject usually reserved for good princesses.

Madeline Hatter's appearance and personality

Madeline is a girl around Raven Queen's age, but she is much more petite or shorter in statute, as so as Apple White, who is shorter than Raven. She is described to be one of the shortest students in Unfairest of Them All. Although, this difference in height with Ever Afterlings is quite Wonderlandians. Her hair is curly and wavy, and comes in three colors: dark turquoise, mint green, and dark purple or violet. She has bright blue-teal eyes and light skin. She is also shorter than most of her classmates, and has a signature baby face. Her main fashion accessory theme is tea, which include a teacup hat; most of her outfits incorporate tea set-inspired details. As the future Mad Hatter, Maddie also rarely goes around without a hat. In addition to her hair's colors, her clothes of choice feature yellow, black, and blue, which is called mad-tastic style combined with a vast array of non-synchronized patterns, her average look is a busy one, befitting her energetic personality. Her everyday look is a magenta puffy-sleeved layered dress with a blue bow around the waist. White leggings cover her legs. They are blue-spotted. She wears white-cream shoes with gold teapot-handle-resembling wedges or heels at the bottom of them. She wears teal-green gloves with white polka dots on them to match in reverse to her white pantyhose-leggings with teal-green polka dots on them, but in the cartoon, the polka dots on Maddie's gloves are nonexistent. Her gloves also have white puffs at the ends of them in all the cartoon, artworks, and doll lines. In the doll line of her Basic outfit and in the webisodes and the artworks, she has a magenta ring on both her right middle finger and ring finger on top of her right glove. Madeline is bright, energetic, and extremely friendly. Also very optimistic. Generally, she interprets things more positive than they are, the one exception being when people are explicitly arguing. Ashlynn Ella's appearance and personality

Ashlynn has long strawberry blonde hair pulled into a pumpkin-shaped bump and tied with a braid. She has green eyes, peach skin, and natural pink lips. Her theme colors are turquoise and coral pink. Ashlynn enjoys combining floral color or patterns to her outfit, as this shows that she's a nature enthusiast. Ashlynn's interests are divided over three topics: shoes, nature, and Hunter Huntsman. She holds a job at The Glass Slipper both to indulge her obsession and to enforce the humble, hard-working attitude her mother instilled in her. Ashlynn enjoys long strolls in Enchanted Forest and getting her hands dirty with earth and plant material, even if it is not befitting one of royal heritage. She has a unique ability to communicate with animals, who help her out sometimes. She shares this interest with Hunter, whom she dates despite not being allowed to, to the mixed feelings of the other students.

Briar Beauty's appearance and personality

As the next Sleeping Beauty, also known as Briar Rose, Briar's big fashion motif are roses and thorns. She utilizes their imagery as print, jewelry, and even hairstyle. Her colors of choice are pink and black, accentuated with silver accessories. Briar has wavy brown hair with pink streaks running through it, light brown skin, and brown eyes Briar knows she is going to be asleep for a hundred years, so until then, she lives life to the fullest. She enjoys doing things spontaneously such as pulling stunts, and is known for throwing parties. She tends to spontaneously sleep in random places at random times.

Faybelle's appearance and personality

Faybelle's platinum white-blond hair is styled in a high ponytail and a wavy side fringe streaked with cyan. Her pale gray eyes are framed by an intricate eye makeup design. She has pale gray skin, pointed ears and four small crystalline fairy wings. (Two wings on the doll). Faybelle was told by her mother, 'Never hide in the shadows', which is why Faybelle always wears glittery accessories, and bright clothes, preferably blue. Faybelle Thorn is a competitive girl with a true penchant for wrongdoing. Encouraged from a young age to use her powers for nefarious purposes, she holds no qualms about using her fairy heritage to make sure things always go her way. She considers villainous destinies a mark of prestige, which is why she's distrustful of Raven Queen, whose mother stole the role of the villain in The Sleeping Beauty from Faybelle's, and then has the audacity to reject the most prestigious villain's role of them all. Due to a family curse, people always forget to invite Faybelle to parties, which is a great source of spite for her.[2] Trouble follows Faybelle, and she's always at the center of attention wherever she goes - for better or for worse. Her ambition is both her greatest strength and her Achilles' heel, as most of her exploits to assert her spiritual dominance over her fellow students usually end up backfiring in embarrassing or tragic ways. Nonetheless, she remains unbroken and is always ready to prove herself once more. Although she definitely comes off as snide and selfish, Faybelle is a product of her lineage, and isn't without humanity. She knows when she's taken things too far, and has been known to apologize for her wrongdoings, however begrudgingly. She is a cheerhexer, the Ever After High equivalent of fearleader to Monster High. In Ever After High, cheerleading is also cheerhexing (like fearleading), but in the Shannon Hale books, it is still called "cheerleading" like in real life and "cheerleader" is used to describe Faybelle's uniform out

Duchess Swan's appearance and personality

Duchess considers herself an opportunist, though she, like Briar, is a Royal with doubts. Her story has a tragic ending, which makes her bitter and envious of those with happy endings. Though any princess can become the target of her frustration, Apple White is whom she regards as her main opponent. Apple has the best Happily Ever After. Duchess wants to have her Happily Ever After with Daring Charming whom Duchess has a big crush on. She also looks down on Raven Queen, who is perhaps the only princess with a fate as bad as hers, and she is furious about Ashlynn Ella getting the best of both worlds. However in secret, it is mentioned by Brooke Pagethat Duchess secretly admires Raven and Apple and tries to find the best in both their personalities.[1] She is vindictive and spiteful about her ending, and willing to risk any chance at companionship with her fellow students to get a better one. She appears to think that if she is able to get one of them to give up or lose their Happily Ever After, she can take the ending for herself. Duchess has pale skin, brown eyes, and long black hair, streaked with white and lavender. She has a purple floral and feathered headpiece on the side of her head. She wears dark eyeshadow and pink lipstick. In the webisodesand TV specials, which the TV specials are also part of the cartoon, rather than a white ballet dress with medium lavender designs, a black, hard-material belt around her waist, and black fishnet stockings or pantyhose; she instead, wears a cream-colored-to-white ballerina dress/ballet dress with pale lavender fading to darker lavender at the bottom, and with white feather designs, instead of black star designs and swirl patterns or designs, with white pantyhose or stockings with purple swirl designs or swirl patterns. She also has dark olive skin instead of pale white skin, long white hair with black streaks and pale-pink streaks or highlights with a strand of black at the right side, rather than long black hair with whi

Cerise Hood's appearance and personality

Cerise has long, dark brown hair with several white streaks (predominantly on the left side) and slate gray-blue eyes. She has tan skin like her father. When she has her wolf-like outbursts, her eye color changes to yellow gold. Her makeup and outfits consist of darker colors and red, although she usually uses natural colors for her lipstick. She is never without her mother's famous red hood, which hides her half-wolf ears. She also wears grey leggings and brown hiker boots. Cerise seems to be on good terms with most students, but she is nonetheless a reserved individual who is more than meets the eye. Granted that she is not exactly a loud individual, her inhuman athleticism surprises most. Being part wolf, Cerise is an excellent athlete, if not the best at Ever After High. She's prone to wolf-like tendencies and outbreaks, which is a huge inconvenience as she's trying to hide her heritage. Nevertheless, she loves her parents equally as she was ecstatic when they had a picnic together and regularly carries around a locket of their family photo. She is cautious about her secret and makes sure she keeps her wolf heritage out of public knowledge. Though Cerise acts somewhat ‘stand-off-ish’ to the people who want to know more about her. She is incredibly protective of her friends and respects them for their secrets and is definitely not the type to betray anyone for something of her own benefit. She is a bit mysterious. She goes under the name "Cerise Hood", with the family name "Hood" from her mother to protect the fact that she is also Badwolf's daughter. She keeps this fact a secret.

Lizzie Heart's appearance and personality

Lizzie has black and red hair that is partially tied into a heart shaped bump on top of her head. She has pale peach skin and turquoise eyes, and her left eye is covered with a red heart she paints on herself, since she does not have a birthmark like her mother.[2] As the next Queen of Hearts, Lizzie's outfits are frequently seen with very bold yet simple colors, such as red, black, and gold. Lizzie also makes use of her lineage by adding hearts to her everyday wear. Like her mother, Lizzie often condemns people and objects to decapitation, but she is really a sweetheart, despite her capriciousness. Regardless of the fact that she is proud of her heritage, Lizzie has aspirations on becoming a kinder Queen of Hearts, however she has trouble expressing that to her friends for it is easier said than done. She goes a bit overboard as she memorizes her mother's daily deck of instructions and using her mother's signature quote a lot, her bold actions often startling others around her. She acknowledges that the people of Ever After take her exclamations far too literally. Because of that, Lizzie values genuine friendship, mostly from her Wonderlandian friends Madeline and Kitty. She is described to act aloof and standoffish to those who don't know her personally in practice of her role as future Queen of Wonderland. Out of the Wonderlandians who experienced the flight from Wonderland, she is probably the most nostalgic one because her mother was also affected. Her Wonderlandian exclamations are often misunderstood by the citizens of Ever After. In the Shannon Hale book called A Wonderlandiful World, its revealed that Lizzie secretly wanted to make friends as she would wish she is one of the girls who likes to party and dance with Briar Beauty but her admiration of following her mother's footsteps made it difficult for her to do so, She is also the strongest believer of 'Nothing is impossible' a Wonderlandian belief. Her "Magic Touch", is that she has the ability to constrt

Blondie Lockes's appearance and personality

Blondie is something of a perfectionist, always trying to make everything "just right". She is Ever After High's authority on gossip and the go-to-girl for news. She does tend to exaggerate and stretch the truth at times, which she likes to see as a perfect quality for a journalist. Although she never wants to stop reporting, Blondie is aware that her gossip can hurt her friends, and she is genuinely sorry when it does. This shows a more caring side to Blondie. Blondie has bright blue eyes and long, curly yellow-blonde hair with a fringe/bangs. Blondie prides herself on having such fair hair, "evidence" of her being royalty.

Daring Charming's appearance and personality

Daring has short and wavy light blond hair, pale skin and pale blue eyes. He also wears letter jackets with EAH printed on them (which is the Ever After High school-logo), white, high-top sneakers with gold designs and crown on them, blue jeans, and blue, checkered-patterned vests underneath his letter jackets. In "Epic Winter", he wears his 'Signature - Royals' letter jacket with a fur-lined collar, but it is under the doll line, "Epic Winter", not "Signature" or "Signature - Royals". He wears this in "Epic Winter", the TV special. His clothing mostly consists of letterman (sports) jackets or in other words "letter jackets" and gold crowns for his head. He dresses formally and casually with a mixture of letter jackets to bring out that unique look. For the most part, Daring is his father's son - he is, obviously, quite charming and handsome. He is also quite egotistical and conceited and very infatuated with his appearance, as he is often seen with a mirror or flashing his smile to girls. It is apparent that Daring's sanity, confidence, and happiness all revolve around him seeing himself in the mirror. He does have some sense of duty though. He is often seen escorting his (previous) future queen Apple White and he is well-practiced in gallantry. Daring also takes extra precaution when his teeth get whitened by covering his mouth to not risk blinding passing students. Aside from his confident airs, Daring has shown to be a sensitive guy at times, prone to emotional outbursts in times of great stress. His profile information says that he's easily upset, though seeing something beautiful can calm him down (such as his own reflection). He cares greatly for his friends and family, especially his younger siblings who he tries to look out for (though not always in the best way). Nonetheless, he is not afraid to admit to his mistakes and apologize to others.

Alistair Wonderland's appearance and personality

Alistair has semi-long, messy white-blond, and dark blond hair, bright blue eyes, bangs and peach-colored skin. His signature, 'Signature - Royals' outfit has him wearing a dark bright blue rolled-up-sleeved, or mid-quarter-length sleeved shirt with patterns on it such as clocks, Queen of Hearts cards designs, pocket-watches, teapots and many other patterns and designs. He also has light blue at the cuffs resembling denim, light tan pants and dark brown boots. He usually wears a brown water canteen around his waist and in the webisodes, a tan backpack. In the webisodes, Alistair also wears a brown, chained necklace and he lacks the canteen. Alistair loves a good riddle and is very witty. Sometimes he can get a bit overconfident with himself, calling himself a 'riddle master', but is selfless, brave and well-rounded in character either way. Like all of the other Wonderlandians, Alistair shows that he misses Wonderland a great amount. As such, he has a tendency to get haunting flashbacks about when he faced the Evil Queen and stayed back with Bunny Blanc.[1] His birthday is revealed on Facebook to be May 12th.[2] He is very kind to Ever Afterlings, also. Like his mother Alice, Alistair is very curious.

Hunter Huntsman's appearance and personality

Hunter has tan skin, hazel eyes and dark brown hair. The right side of his head is shaven, while the hair on the left side hangs just over his ear. He wears a green shirt and a brown vest similar to a hoodie. He has on brown boots, white pants and carries around a brown satchel. Hunter is a little boastful, easily annoyed, and distracted. He is serious about his role as a hero, but not as enthusiastic about his job description as a hunter. He cares deeply for nature and animals, and is even a vegan, though his family won't approve this so he keeps it a secret, as he does not eat anything that was an animal or from an animal. He also secretly set free the animals from his father's traps[1]. At times, he can tend to be a little overconfident when confronting problems. Hunter is the kind of boy who goes along with others easily, but has problems finding connection on topics that deeply matter to him, like nature and animal well-being.

Sparrow Hood's appearance and personality

He has light skin, olive green eyes, red hair and a soul patch. His style reflects his rocker influences through studded and buckled accessories and piercings in both ears. In the Suzzane Selfor books, specifically Next Top Villain he is said to have chestnut brown hair instead, meaning that the books and the cartoon series may or may not take place in two different divided universes, or just may have a different appearance in the book series. Sparrow is a kind person but he prefers to limit his ties. He is a charmer, able to catch the interest of many girls, but usually not interested in keeping a hold on it. As befitting his destiny, Sparrow is a practiced thief and conman. Nonetheless, he has little interest in his prewritten future, as he'd rather be a musician. He is a skilled singer and guitarist.

Milton Grimm's appearance and personality

He is dressed in a blue coat and light greyish blue vest with a light blue ascot with a golden decoration with a red stone on it. He has a dark grey mustache, green eyes and dark grey hair with lighter stripes. He also wears a golden ring in the shape of a mirror. He's also rather stout, at least in the stomach area, from the side. As headmaster, Milton is a strict man who insists that no one so much as considers ignoring their destiny. More than any other, he seems to fear that rebellion will lead to the loss of stories and eventually the fairytale figures' entire world. While understandable if true, Headmaster Grimm has no qualms about pointedly ignoring that some students have destinies that are anything but appealing. But the main reason why he's like that, is due to an incident in his childhood that almost cost the life of his brother, Giles. Ever since then he vowed to make sure that no one ever go outside their stories.

Dexter Charming's appearance and personality

Dexter has light skin, brown hair and blue eyes. His hair usually has a cowlick, but on the dolls, his hair is neat and gelled down. He wears a small, headband-like, gold crown and glasses. He is the only Charming ever that wear glasses. Dexter is slightly taller than Raven Queen, known to have a notable height difference to Apple White, while Dexter is similar to height with Briar Beauty, whose height naturally cannot be determined because the latter always wears very tall, heeled shoes, but is naturally tall. He likes to blend styles as a mixture of formal, to reflect his royal heritage as a prince, and casual, as to reflect he mostly doesn't care how he looks (Unless, of course, he has a special date with Raven). His height is somewhat hard to tell what it is naturally because his basic footwear as his 'Signature - Royals' outfit is a pair of high-topped sneakers that actually kind of look almost "boot-like". According to his artwork, he wears one shoe tied (his right shoe) and the other, left, untied. He prefers to wear princely royal jackets that show sign of royalty in royal blue, and wear scarfs/scarves. He also likes to wear shades of gold, a color of royalty. Typically, Dexter prefers to blend formal and casual together to make a whole new "outsider look". He also wears denim pants or jeans in shades of deep gray. Dexter is shy and tentative. He is friendly, but unlike his brother, he is not very suave or charismatic. This becomes even more pronounced when he talks to Raven Queen, whom he has a crush on, one on one. At times, he has a tendency to compare himself with his older brother, Daring. Ironically, Dexter is jealous of his brother's ability to impress any girl, unaware that he himself possesses an enchanted gaze that makes girls swoon. The effect is broken when his gaze is not immediate, like when he wears his glasses. Just like C.A. Cupid, his trademark Mattel name is also not his full name or real name.

Hopper Croakington II's appearance and personality

Hopper has bright green eyes, freckles, and dark red hair. Hopper is a very shy boy who turns into a frog when he gets tongue-tied or flustered. This causes Hopper great annoyance when he's trying to flirt with the girls. Hopper considers his alter ego, the charming yet attractive frog of his transformation, very annoying - yet his frog self is eloquent and poetic where his human self is awkward and stammering. Hopper tends to give frog-related stuff to girls as tokens of affection, which they usually find disgusting.

Kitty Cheshire's appearance and personality

Kitty has long, puffy, curled lavender hair pulled into bouncy high pigtails, sleek blue eyes with cat-like pupils and fair skin, and brownish-orange eyebrows. She wears maroon lipstick and has pointy blue clawed nails, but in the artwork and on the doll, she has pink lipstick and lacks the nails. Normally, Kitty takes on the paler colors of purple and blue to add to most of her clothing. Cat-like attributes and accessories add character to most of her attires. Her dolls have a light purple skin tone, suggesting cat fur, although, in the cartoon, she has pale humanoid skin. Kitty is a mischievous chaotic werecat with an almost-villain streak to her. She usually likes to cause problems for others, but really, in truth, has a good heart and loves and cares for her friends. Her personality is quite catty, as she is very curious and likes to cause bad things to happen almost wherever she goes. Kitty never means to be fully antagonistic or be a real antagonist, but she sometimes forgets how to really treat her friends. Through and through, though, Kitty is kindhearted and will even stand up against her own mother to protect both her Wonderlandian friends and save her friends of Ever After.

Bunny Blanc's appearance and personality

Bunny has the ability to transform into a bunny. In her human form, Bunny has light pink skin and shoulder-length white hair with a fringe. In her bunny form, she has big green eyes and a pink nose, with white fur. Bunny usually incorporates stopwatches, and clocks in her designs, which also fit her destiny as the future White Rabbit. In her human-like form, she possesses a peach-like skin tone(more white in the artwork), blue-green eyes, and typically wears clothing with faux fur and black gloves like her father. Bunny is shy, however she's also quite intelligent. She is often nervous when it comes to solving problems, so she's dependent on her friends for that. Bunny's rather mature, patient and unassertive towards others and is frequently on-time wherever she goes, regardless if she's lost her way. Because of that, she's described to be never stressed and quite cool-headed.[2] However, unlike all of the White Rabbits before her, she somehow manages to be on time wherever she has to go, whenever. Bunny herself believes this is just sheer luck occurring on countless occasions, considering that her luck also brought her to Ever After.

Humphrey Dumpty's appearance and personality

He has been described as an egghead, figuratively. He is good with technology and is often found in the Mirror Lab. Humphrey is a bit flustered around Apple White, but is equally eager to impress her. He likes to rap in his free time. In The Storybook of Legends, Humphrey is an animate egg with a white shell body and thin arms and legs. As an egg, he is shorter than most other students. In the cartoon, he is a humanoid male of average height with light skin, blond hair and brown eyes. He wears glasses and a golden crown with a dull teal shirt underneath a white vest with a dull yellow bow tie with light orange pants with overall straps connecting from his pants over his shoulders and back down with shiny dark brown shoes

C.A. Cupid's appearance and personality

Cupid has long, wavy, bright pink hair. She has pale skin which in the webisodes her skin has a pink tint to it, blue eyes and ivory feathered wings. She dresses in shades of pink, as well as white, black and bronze. Her choice of apparel is Ancient Greek-based but adjusted to incorporate more modern elements. Her overall look is finalized with heart, arrow, and feather symbols. Cupid is kind and helpful in matters of love. While she's very much career-driven, she can be distracted from her work when she is near her crush. However, as she's aware that she's a student with a unique destiny, she's still searching for her family heritage.[1] Cupid is loyal to her job as an advice show presenter and as a friend. When it comes to matters of love, Cupid swallows her pride and puts her friends' needs before her own. She is revealed to be allergic to pollen to the extent that she needs an inhaler in the webisode Heart Struck. She also is actually a Sagittarius, not an Aquarius, as her birthday is November 24th, not February 14th. Just like Dexter Charming, her official name in the books (Suzanne Selfors books, because she is not revealed as "C.A." in the Shannon Hale books), and doll box name as well as doll logs/doll diaries; is her nickname, rather than her full name.

Information about Ever After High

Ever After High is a large castle located at a clifftop. Students are expected to spend the schoolyear at school, so there are plenty of facilities present to accommodate the students even outside classes, and what is lacking can be found in the Village of Book End, which is the village in front of the school. Some of the students even have jobs there. Beneath the school lies the Vault of Lost Tales, which only a few know about, and the school is for a large part surrounded by the Enchanted Forest, which is a pleasant place to be by day but not so much by night. Because the students live at Ever After High, there are dormitories present, split by gender. The following students are rooming together. Any student missing from this list is doing so only because their roomie is unknown, not because they don't have a room. Fairytales have existed for thousands of years, inspiring imaginations around the world. Certain stories were so spellbinding, they were passed down to new generations. But there was nowhere to teach the teenage sons and daughters of famous fairytales to follow in their parents’ fabled footsteps. That is until 1812, when the Grimm brothers opened the doors to Ever After High – a high school where the next generation of fairytales learned to live their legacy. Class schedules specific for each fairytale were handed out – from Princessology for royal legacies to General Villainy for villain legacies. Headmaster Milton Grimm, who currently runs Ever After High, believes the future of fairytales relies on all students fully embracing their prewritten destiny today to become a legend of tomorrow.

Every year, second years at Ever After High pledge to follow the footsteps of their fairytale ancestors by signing the Storybook of Legends and looking into they're future.
