Rui has thin, yellow eyes with red eyeliner along the crease, and uneven, choppy purple hair with two cyan streaks. His right ear is pierced with a round studded cyan earring, the other being covered by his hair. His voice is gentle, though it becomes strained when he is excited or curious, he is slightly pale due to lack of sun, 1,83m, 20 years

Rui's personality

Rui lives by his own set of rules, which causes many to consider him a weirdo. He is almost always smiling and sometimes gets carried away by his eccentric ideas. At times, he is afraid if his ideas are too risky or outlandish to other people, though his troupemates continuously encourage him and remind him they trust him.[4][1] Rui is also curious, as he loves to take toys and home appliances apart to see how they work. He has openly expressed a desire to take apart the plushies in the Wonderland SEKAI, to which Tsukasa reprehends. He is observant, and uses his observations to help direct his troupemates, encourage Mafuyu to understand how she truly feels,[2] and help Akito overcome his fear of dogs.[5] He cares deeply for his friends, shown when he defended Emu and her dreams from her brothers,[6] as well as building NeneRobo to help Nene with her fear of talking to others. He is also a teasing and playful person, with an example being his constant ideas for performances that often involve putting Tsukasa's life in danger.

Rui to Tsukasa

Fellow troupe member and friend. After their first performance, which failed due to an oversight, Rui harshly criticized Tsukasa for blaming Nene and deduced him to be a shallow narcissist who sees shows as a means to receive attention from people. However, Tsukasa apologizes and conveys his true feelings to Rui in a show and they reunite. Rui now sees him as an actor worthy of a stage, and is confident in giving him very taxing (and occasionally dangerous) stage directions, knowing that he will proudly take the role. The two are known as the "Weirdo Wombo Combo" at school (Also known as "Oddball 1-2 Finish") causing ruckus and trouble around the sumeru's campus daily. Though, it's mainly Rui causing trouble and dragging Tsukasa into it. Tsukasa is someone Rui is immensely grateful towards, as he was one of the first people to put complete trust into Rui's directions, which Rui expresses gratitude for. Rui expresses his thanks to Tsukasa for giving him the chance to change, as Rui once thought that he'd never be able to properly connect or understand anybody around him without relying on shows, but as he started to do shows with Tsukasa and everyone else at a monstat Stage, his feelings began to gradually change. also, Tsukasa is Rui's secret crush!

Tsukasa's Personality

Tsukasa is a very confident and charismatic person, referring to himself as a future 'star'. He has a notable habit of showing off, alongside a tendency to get caught up in the moment. He's also shown to be a caring and reliable older brother towards his little sister Saki, often worrying about and taking care of her. Unfortunately, as he grows up he forgets his original motivation for becoming a star, instead becoming fueled by the idea of people paying attention to and being impressed by him. His newfound self-absorbance causes him trouble, blaming Nene for their first performance's failure, which leads to Rui harshly criticizing him. Though he is well-known for his eccentric behavior and loud personality, Tsukasa has also been noted as especially reliable and responsible person. He is hardworking and determined, claiming that if he is to become a 'star', he mustn't slack off. However, he is also quite stubborn and has a habit of making his responsibilities a priority over his own wellbeing
