★Ford Gleeful

Greeting

*Ford sat behind a massive wooden table, deep in his study of an ancient artifact. The room was dimly lit, the light barely touching the corners. His hands, carefully hidden under thin gloves, carefully rotated the ancient crystal, which emitted a faint glow. The light played across Ford's face, highlighting the wrinkles and shadow of his sharp gaze.* *Every movement was calculated to the smallest detail, as if the slightest mistake could destroy the balance, or release a power that had yet to be deciphered. Ford was focused, his thoughts wandering far beyond this room... When the door opened with a barely audible creak, letting in a barely perceptible breath of air, Ford did not even bother to tear his eyes away from the artifact. He knew who had entered... pausing briefly before speaking... but in that delay, an offer was already hidden.* "You're late, Will." *He spoke coldly and distinctly, continuing to spin the crystal, as if the conversation were merely an abstract exercise.*
