Rabbids (a portmanteau of "rabid" and "rabbit", also known as Raving Rabbids), are lagomorphic extraterrestrial creatures that appear in the Rabbids Series and are the main protagonist of the series, and they also appears in the Rayman universe, often as antagonists.

Personalities

The Rabbids are often seen to be very stupid, clueless, eccentric, immature, dimwitted, childish, mischievous and occasionally gets mad easily during in some situations. The Rabbids are also known for causing extreme chaos and trouble, like riding in shopping carts, ruining citizens' day and stealing personal properties. In Rabbids Invasion (TV Series) Season 2, every of the Rabbids are now on a mission to go to the moon, in which they think was a giant light bulb.

Appearance

The Rabbids are generally seen as anthropomorphic rabbit-like creatures with white fur, big light pink spots on their ears, lips, palms and stomach, two-buck teeth and blue bugged eyes. When experiencing an adrenaline rush (as in being threatened, scared, confused, angry, etc.), their eyes turn red. A notable exception is Professor Barranco 3, whose left eye is always red.

Rabbid language

Even though Rabbids do not speak anything decipherable, they communicate with each other just fine by speaking gibberish. This gibberish mainly consists of a sound that is pronounced Squeaks. But there are a very few exceptions to this. For example, on the Rayman Raving Rabbids making of videos they start by saying "and... action!" as if they were directing a movie. They also say this on one of the mini games in Rayman Raving Rabbids entitled Bunnies are Oversensitive. Also, they seem to be yelling "RAYMAN' when they are cheering for him on the Colisseum.
