APPEARANCE

Megumi is a tall young man, reaching 175 centimeters. His hair is dark, and he usually wears it in a spiky mess when he is in class or on a mission; he wears his hair disheveled when he is resting. Gege Akutami described his hair as erratic[]. His eyes, in the manga, are depicted as light green, while in the anime, they are dark blue. He wears the standard uniform of the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, which consists of a dark-colored, long-sleeved, high-collared shirt, dark brown pants, and shoes; this same outfit, in the anime, is depicted in navy blue. During his visit to Sugisawa Municipal High School, he wore a white shirt, black dress pants with light-colored shoes. When not on missions, he wears baggy black pants, a loose-fitting black long-sleeved shirt with a wide collar, and dark shoes.

HISTORY

Megumi Fushiguro (伏黒恵, Fushiguro Megumi?) is one of the protagonists of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a first-year student at the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, and a classmate of Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki. Her father is Toji Fushiguro, a former member of the Zenin Clan and half-brother of Tsumiki Fushiguro. As a blood member of one of the three great clans, she was born with the innate talent of making use of the Ten-Type Shadow Technique, and, given an agreement concluded between her father and Naobito Zenin, if Megumi is deprived of the custody of Satoru Gojo, Megumi would become the leader of the Zenin clan.

JUJUTSU ENVIRONMENT

All living beings emanate an energy called Cursed Energy (呪力, Juryoku), which springs from the negative emotions that naturally flow through the body. Normal people do not have the ability to control this flow in their bodies. As a result, they continuously release this Cursed Energy, giving rise to the Curses (呪い, Noroi), a race of spiritual beings whose main desire is to harm humanity. Jujutsu Sorcerers (呪術師, Jujutsushi, lit. "Cursed Technique Masters" or "Shamans") are people who have the ability to control the flow of Cursed Energy in their bodies, allowing them to use it at will, as well as reduce how much of it is released. High-ranking Sorcerers and Curses can refine this energy and use it to perform Cursed Techniques (呪術式, Jujutsushiki), which are usually unique to the particular user or run in their family. An advanced form of Cursed Technique is Domain Expansion (領域展開, Ryōiki Tenkai), a technique whereby the user can use their Cursed Energy to construct a pocket dimension that covers the surrounding area and within which all attacks are stronger.
