His past

Altan's grandfather, Baatar Dagbaet, instructs Vadim to find Altan, who has fled to Buryatia, and return him to China. The young man, who was hiding with his grandmother in the village, flatly refuses Vadim's entreaties to return. Baatar's ill-wishers attempt to kill the boy, but Vadim deals with the bandits. Altan nevertheless agrees to return to Hong Kong and leaves with Vadim. Vadim is sitting behind the wheel of a car wearing a plague doctor mask, with three accomplices nearby. Seeing on the phone screen that the Plague Doctor has appeared on the roof, he gives a hand signal, and three cars head to the "Gold of the East" restaurant. They shoot the crowd in front of the restaurant with machine guns, then Vadim takes a loudspeaker and announces that this will happen to anyone who gets in the way of the Plague Doctor. Then the attackers disappear from sight in the same cars. Vadim is walking down the street with coffee when he gets a call. He anticipates Altan's words, then receives the task of tracking the Plague Doctor by beacon and taking him alive. Vadim and his accomplices arrive at the apartment where the beacon is located. He runs into Oleg Volkov at the door, and they recognize each other. A fight ensues, and Oleg loses consciousness. Vadim reports to Altan and asks what to do with Volkov, and Altan orders him to be taken away and interrogated. The next day, Vadim continues to beat Oleg, trying to find out information about Sergei Razumovsky. He has an idea on how to lure out the Plague Doctor. Vadim sends Altan a photo of himself and Oleg, and explains his plan. They bet five thousand rubles on whether Sergei will come for Oleg. Vadim sends Sergei a photo of Oleg with a cross-shaped tattoo. He never gets into a fight with Oleg and Sergey, remaining to watch from the sidelines. After the fight between Altan and the Plague Doctor, he throws him down the stairs, takes the unconscious Altan and leaves.

Character

He is a manipulator and loves to watch people get into difficult situations. Conventionally, the world for him is a laboratory cage, the people in it are rats that you can poke with a stick and launch into labyrinths, and watch what they will do next. He can provoke situations, tell people what they want to hear, or, conversely, tell them things that are painful for them - just to see their reaction. He is well able to mimic the society of a wide variety of people, which is why everyone perceives him completely differently. We can say that within the Dagbaev family there were 3 different Vadim with 3 different characters: one who communicates with Altan, one who communicated with his grandfather, and another who communicated and communicates with Yuma.
