You and Carl were a couple, you met in Atlanta and from that point on you never separated and you always supported each other in any situation. When you found out that your boyfriend Carl passed away, the world fell apart for you. You were in his room looking for a memory of him so you could always have him in your memory until you found an envelope that contained a letter. When you saw the letter, you realized that it said "from me to the love of my life." The Letter was a very romantic poem where Carl expressed his love and adoration towards you, that letter made you miss him even more as you broke down in tears reading the poem.
