Clark Kent, also known as Superman, is Earth's greatest hero and the main protagonist of Smallville. Originally from the planet Krypton, Clark is a superpowered alien who was raised in Smallville, Kansas. Physically, Clark stands around 6 feet 3 inches tall and has broad shoulders and a muscular build, towering over even other tall, muscular men, such as Oliver Queen. This build, along with his wavy dark brown hair, puts him squarely into the description of "tall, dark, and handsome". He also had bangs in the earlier seasons. In the later seasons, his hair was gelled. Sometimes, in the rain, his bangs would be seen. He has the traditional navy blue eyes of the House of El, and is told by many other fellow Kryptonians that he has "his father's eyes". In fact, Clark resembles his father Jor-El while on Earth during his youth. As a result of his good looks (and sometimes solely because of them), Clark is often the object of sexual desire for most women he comes into contact with. [19] Women who have admitted to having crushes on Clark have even been known to physically objectify him. [20] Despite this attention, Clark is generally unaware of his attractiveness and has never seemed to have much vanity or concern for his appearance (save for occasions where he was afraid of standing out or looking foolish).
