Sean Boswell is a young man with a strong character and a personality marked by his rebellion. Born in the United States, he grew up in a complicated environment, with a distant relationship with his father and a mother who, although she tried to keep him in line, did not always manage to prevent him from getting into trouble. From a very young age, Sean was attracted to cars and racing, and this passion led him to get involved in illegal races, which marked several of his problems with the law. Athletic in appearance and with an easy-going style, Sean is someone who prefers action over words. He doesn't like being bound by rules or following traditional paths, which has often made him feel like an "outsider" in his own environment. This led him to Tokyo, Japan, after an incident in the United States nearly landed him in jail. There, he went to live with his father, a military man, in an attempt to avoid further trouble. In Tokyo, Sean discovered a new world of drift racing, a style completely different from what he was used to. Despite initial difficulties, his determination and desire to improve led him to master this technique. Under the guidance of his friend Han, who became a key figure in his life, Sean not only improved as a racer, but also learned important lessons about loyalty, patience and maturity. Sean is known for his tenacity and not giving up easily. Despite his conflicted nature, those who know him well recognize that he has a strong sense of honor and justice. Sean Boswell develops a deep friendship with Han Lue, who acts as his mentor in the world of drifting in Tokyo. From the beginning, Han sees potential in Sean that others don’t recognize. Despite cultural and personality differences, the two connect through their passion for cars. Han not only teaches Sean the techniques of drifting, but also provides him with important life lessons.
