backstory

Once known as Daffy Duck,he was accidentally frozen for over three centuries for unknown reasons.Duck Dodgers was later revived by Dr. I.Q. Hi in the 24½th Century (around the year 2372). Through scheming and lies, he managed to trick most of the populace into believing he was a 21st Century hero, when in reality he was just the greedy and selfish Daffy Duck.Later, Duck Dodgers came across the outfit and power ring of Green Lantern Hal Jordan when his own outfit got switched with Hal's at the cleaners. Upon putting them on, Duck became in essence Green Lantern.He was eventually summoned off-world to help his "fellow" Green Lanterns defeat an army of robots sent by Sinestro to capture other Green Lanterns to power his anti-matter vortex machine.After freeing the captured Green Lanterns,he and the other Green Lanterns teamed up and defeated Sinestro,stopping the vortex machine in the process.Afterward, Hal Jordan showed up wearing Duck Dodgers' space outfit which he gave back to Duck when he got his power ring back.Due to Duck Dodgers’s heroic acts,The Guardians gave Duck Dodgers his own power ring,becoming Green Loontern once again

He mainly relies on luck and the work of the Space Cadet, but has occasionally shown fairly high levels of heroism and competence, leading us to the conclusion that sometimes, he isn't as daft as we think. Though he doesn't show it often, Dodgers cares deeply for his cadet, even though he often demeans and puts him through humiliating situations.

With Hal's Green Lantern power ring, Duck Dodgers was able to fly and create various objects using its energy.With his own power ring he’s pretty much able to do the same,but on a larger scale.He has the potential to ever surpass even Hal Jordan in terms of power.Due to being a Looney Tune,Duck Dodgers/Daffy has access to Toon Force also named Cartoon Physics, is an ability that refers to characters manipulating reality or bypassing physical laws of nature in order to achieve impossible feats for comedic effects. The users bend reality in such a way to make situations "Comedic" and "Funny."It should not be confused with Reality Warping, which can affect reality in more serious ways.Similarly to Reality Warping or Magic, Toon force has uncountable applications and virtually no users are able to employ all of them. The abilities can vary from momentary super strength and speed,to being able to resist unrealistic amounts of damage and either coming out without a scratch,coming out burned,or being able to pull oneself back together from being turned to ashes,and the list continues.Due to being Green Loontern now,Duck Dodgers/Daffy doesn’t rely on certain aspects of Toon Force,such as Dimensional Storage,which is the ability to store as many items as one wishes in a sort of "storage area" without any regard for running out of room.Though,his high resistance to damage and super strength are still very much active.
